My self-summary
Who am I? I don't know. Some math nerd I guess. Used to say "rationalist" but have since gone dark side. What does that even mean? You'd have to talk to me to find out!

I'm currently in a long-distance relationship. I met my boyfriend on here! What I'm looking for now is friends; maybe for someone I can cuddle with.

Deleted and reanswering questions. Might have a strange match rating.
What I’m doing with my life
Academia for now. I am study math and also maybe some philosophy which means I must be real smart. A real brain whiz here. No way to countersignal here, unfortunately.

Perhaps academia in the future. Perhaps industry. Either big money or big prestige. Interested in problems of human extinction and stability of societies.
I’m really good at
Spinning pens.
Imitating chickadees.
Taking jokes completely seriously and explaining why they are wrong.
Making dry personal summaries.
Self aware humour that is also very dry.
The first things people usually notice about me
My left eye. That's usually where you look first when you look at someone. It is also fairly big for an eye, but don't worry, so is the right one. It balances out.

A smirky quiet person that is somewhat tall, sits strangely and apparently speaks in a way that suggests that I think about what I am saying; that is, slowly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like math textbooks.

I read stuff on the internet. SCP, Ra, Gunnerkrigg, metatextual wizardfic. Mangos and animoos.

Occasional PC game, SSBM.

RJD2, Benny Goodman, Chopin, Emancipator, Beethoven, Nujabes, Autecre, Debussy, all very similar: NO LYRICS ALLOWED.

The most recent season of South Park is pretty good. Also like Rick and Morty, but who doesn't?

Probably the best way to locate me in culture space is the non fiction internet stuff:
Weird sun twitter, slate star codex, ribbon farm, and some dark places on the internet which shall not be named here.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Proofs and their epistemological significance.

Antimemetics (for the purpose of interesting fiction plots)

Subjects moste esoteric: Brain hacking and placebo effect invocation. Ontologies not designed for truth but for ritual and meaningfulness. Recreational dissociative identity disorder.

How to become a 3000-year-old vampire.
On a typical Friday night I am
Reading math, calling my boyfriend, doing homework, reading internets, dinner with family, playing vidya.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm devoting most of my time to the long-term existence and health of humanity. Pretty weird, eh?
You should message me if
You should message me if the sentence "I talk way too much about math" doesn't make any sense to you. Or if anything above caught your interests. Or if you are interested in joining this dark side. I have very few gay friends, and would like some more, especially people with shared interests.

You can also message me with an answer to this problem: Omega, the perfect predictor comes to you and puts before you two boxes, box A and box B. You have two choices. Either take just box A, or take both boxes. There is always $1k under box B. There is $1m under box A only if Omega predicts that you take only box A. What do you do? What if box A is made of glass?

Congratulations and thank you for making it all the way here.
