My self-summary
I spent most of my life in PA before hopping around for work. I try to do as much as I can in terms of writing, drawing, filming, improv and whatnot. I like creating things and enjoy artistic endeavors. Always trying to engage with or entertain people. My sense of humor is pretty dry sometimes.
What I’m doing with my life
Living in Brooklyn, Working in Midtown as a VFX and Graphics artist for a TV Production Company. Basically people come into my office and say "Hey, wouldn't it be really cool if _______ happened in this scene?" Then I find a way to make _______ happen... Lately this entails making a lot of actors get convincingly shot...

When I'm not doing that I'm writing, reading, drawing, filming, watching stuff, listening to things, throwing frisbees, plotting...
I’m really good at
Useless trivia, quoting movies/shows, taking things apart and putting them back together, putting together/taking apart/putting back together ikea furniture, laughing at myself, cooking, Jimmy Stewart and Sean Connery impersonations.

I'm also insanely good at Scene-it...
The first things people usually notice about me
I get "you look like (random person)" a lot. A woman on the train told me that I look like James Dean. I'll take it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Gaiman, Chabon, Ellison, Borges, Twain, Saunders, Adams, Thompson, Miéville, Philip K. Dick, Klosterman and Vonnegut. I also buy comics weekly. Saga by Brian K. Vaughn and Manhattan Projects by Jonathan Hickman are pretty entertaining.

The six things I could never do without
Excluding the obvious:

A Pen
Muppets
James Murphy/David Bowie/David Byrne/Jim Henson
A towel (according to The Guide, I always need one)
Imagination
Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Cinnamon life
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, The Universe, and Everything.

Why are there so many songs about rainbows and what's on the other side?

How do you not feed gremlins/mogwai after midnight? Isn't it technically always after midnight?

How boring it would be to have a clone.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I keep finding those free bookmarks The Strand gives you with every purchase around my bedroom...

I'm older than I used to be.

I always skip over "Genius of Love" on Stop Making Sense and "DARE" on Demon Days.

My dad looks like Ron Swanson to some people.

I wish I would've rickrolled my college professors in my works cited pages... the idea didn't come to me until 1.5 years after I graduated.

Sometimes I sing Neil Diamond songs in the shower.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 20–33
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends
You should message me if
You're fascinated with life and would rather ask "why not?" instead of "why?"

You want to dance in the moonlight to "Dancing in the Moonlight".

You want to run through the streets in slow motion and casually lean on things (Subway ads and FUN music videos may be giving me false expectations for how young people live...)

Or if you want this record bag:

it's a remnant from my etsy and flea market days that I recently came across and just want to give it away...
