My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey-o! So, I'm a west coast farm girl, transplanted to DC by way of a couple other states and countries.

I'm all about archaeology and playing in the dirt. I probably spent too much time watching Indiana Jones as a kid, because I still I enjoy shouting "it belongs in a museum!" I spent most of my childhood jumping through Indian ruins and digging up pottery and arrowheads. I haven't gotten much better.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I climb rocks. Lots and lots of rock climbing.

Marking off my favorite travel destinations (New Orleans!), finding new ones (Scotland, anyone?), and maintaining a healthy obsession with treasure maps.

I love museums and libraries, and study languages in my free time. And I read a lot. Like really guys, I love a good book. I think it would be great if people could buy each other books at a bookstore the same way they do drinks in a bar. That would be *this* much fun (I know you can't see the hand motion: bars are like -this- much fun, bookstores are *this* much fun).

Oh, I also have this thing about Vikings: they are awesome. Pirates are too, but I already have enough books about them. It's time to learn more about Vikings.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
well, all things. Buahaha, just kidding!

So lets say I'm really good at all fun things: adventuring, questing, hiking, and rock climbing. I love it when I can finally get outdoors. Oh, BBQs, I looooooooooooove barbeques. I think I've lost the theme here. Let's salvage this: I'm great at enjoying barbeques.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have waist-length, curly, strawberry-blonde hair. It's like something you'd expect to see in the wild. Or as part of an invading party of Vikings (see? Vikings are awesome!). Or Scythians! (Stand back, I'm on a roll now.)

Although the library at Alexandria may have burned down, I've done my best to recreate it in the limited space of my apartment. I love sharing book recommendations and if you have any suggestions, drop me a line!

Movies: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit, the Mummy, Indiana Jones, Ghostbusters, James Bond flicks, Jurassic Park, campy 80s movies

Music: Stuff my dad raised me on: Boston, AC/DC, and Kansas.
My guilty pleasure is country music (Pistol Annies and Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Lee Bryce, and The Marshall Tucker Band). My go-to playlist is Florence + the Machine, Mumford and Sons, Ludovico Einaudi, and The Federal Hillbillies.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My sisters
2. The rest of my family
3. My dog, Baloo, aka, he-who-thinks-he-is-human
4. Friends to share good times with
5. My climbing pack
6. Books and learning materials!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Treasure, farming, foreign languages, dinosaurs, history, caves, and food. Hmmm, recurve bows and Scythians.

I spend a lot of time looking at things, and thinking, "yeah, I could climb that."
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
slaying vampires. Rappelling up and down 40-foot walls.

Or drinking a glass of wine with some big band tunes on the gramophone.

Villain things.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Do you enjoy outdoorsy fun? Rock climbing? (with picnics! All adventures should have food.)
Or, perhaps, if Ghostbusters is one of your top all-time favorite movies.
Definitely if you know where to find really good food.
Buahah, is this funny to you? http://xkcd.com/1358/

And absolutely if you enjoy baked goods (because that's how I roll. Yeah, you should probably be okay with cheesy puns.).
