I am laid-back, sweet, and unselfish.
My Self-Summary
I'm a 25 year old guy living out in Vernon, CT. I guess you could
call me a passionate, big-hearted guy. I tend to really only be
concerned with life's big stuff - it's too short to worry about the
little things. When I'm on my deathbed, I want to be able to sit
with someone and run through a lifetime of great memories. That's
the stuff that really matters. The rest is just the scenery on the
road there.
What I’m doing with my life
For starters, I work full-time as a software engineer at a software
company here in CT. I'm also currently in the process of applying
to UCONN's part-time MBA program in downtown Hartford. I think I'd
like to go into Management. It's not an easy field (I think the
best managers appreciate the true difficulty of it), but I love
working with and helping people. So, I figure there's no harm in
trying for a post-graduate degree now while I have the time and the
means, you know?
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: Michael Crichton and Steven King's stuff; "Anathem", Neal
Stephenson; "The Great Gatsby", F. Scott Fitzgerald; "Stealing the
Network" series; "I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell", Tucker Max;
probably tons more on my bookshelf that I can't remember.
Movies: "The Big Lebowski", "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels",
"Gladiator", "Snatch", "Desperado", "Pulp Fiction", "Crash",
"Batman Begins", "Kill Bill" 1 & 2, "Seven", " The Dark
Knight", to name a few.
Music: Muse, The Editors, Coldplay, Red Hot Chili Peppers,
Barenaked Ladies, Radiohead, Queens of the Stone Age, Jimmy Eat
World, Foo Fighters, Jay Z, Kanye West, Garbage, Smashing Pumpkins,
John Mayer, Fall Out Boy, Lily Allen, Eminem, Dr. Dre, The Killers,
Snow Patrol, Keane, Filter, Death Cab For Cutie, Panic At The
Disco, Something Corporate, Sara Bareilles, The Darkness, The Cure,
Death Cab For Cutie, LL Cool J, Live, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G.,
Florence + The Machine, ... I tend to be drawn towards exceptional
music: exceptional songwriting, exceptional voices, exceptional
musical capability, etc. Hence the wide range of bands / singers /
rappers.
The six things I could never do without
Hmmm... I wonder if the question means immaterial or material
stuff? The immaterial list is probably more interesting anyway.
I'll just go with that.
1. Love
2. Great Memories
3. Music
4. Companionship
5. Good Conversation
6. Sex
On a typical Friday night I am
Either going out to do something with my friends, or watching TV /
a movie. Work drains me during the week - I'm way more fun on
Saturdays. :-)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I don't really have any secrets - I'll tell you pretty much
anything if you ask. Feel free to... !!
You should message me if
You're looking for a friendship or just someone to talk to.
