My self-summary
I don't care much for my first name, there's only one person in the world that gets away with calling me by it and it's for special reasons. I go by Ozzy. And before you ask, yes it's because it's my last name, and I do consider it "real". I'm a metal musician from SoCal, I love my music and love being on stage. I play bass and do backing vocals and we're finally getting back into some shows after a long hiatus. If you're a metalhead too hit me up. We play shows everywhere we can but we havn't had the opportunity to do anything resembling a tour yet. We all work and none of us could afford to finance something like that. I'm down to play any style of music though and it seems i'm gonna be in a cover band to make some money soon. I work at night as a security guard and live with a couple roommates. We've recently bought a place out in Hemet. Also, I'm best friends and former roommates with Seanvolt.Any questions just ask me.

I am Funny, Smart, and Musical

What I’m doing with my life
I'm planning on going back to school for a culinary degree. Right now i'm just trying to find a career that will allow me to pursue that option. The idea of a musical chef appeals to me for whatever reason. Probably because of the guys in Nevermore.

I’m really good at
Talking to people. I'm a great conversationalist. I'd like to say i'm a great musician but I don't really know how good I am. I think i'm good but who can say. I make friends fairly easy but I don't get close to people very easy though. It takes a lot for me to trust people and let them in to see how I really am. Take your time and talk to me and you'll break through my stupid shy shell.

The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes, or the fact I say what I think no matter the situation. But, usually I get commented on my eyes alot, I don't know why, but I'm told they're a very nice green.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Aubrey and Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian. Finished all of those and really sad that he didn't get to finish the last book. The Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Harry Potter books, about half of the Dark Tower series by Stephen King is cool. Any book about Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz. The Prince of Nothing stuff by R. Scott Bakker is amazing. And the Myth series by Robert Aspirin.

Movies: Anything with Russel Crowe. Kevin Smith movies. The Evil Dead trilogy. Iron Man. Most anything by Mel Brooks, but especially Blazing Saddles and History of the World Part 1. A Knights Tale. Zombieland. Watchmen, The Dark Knight. Actually, a lot of comic book movies would make the list. Labyrinth. Etc. A few others, can't think of anymore right now.

Music: I have a rotating favorites list. I'll listen to a couple of bands constantly for a few weeks, grow tired of them and move onto other bands and artists. Eventually they get back in the rotation. Some of my current favorites are Death, Opeth, Metallica, the Aquabats, Amon Amarth and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.

Food: I love food, can't help it. I dig Mexican the most. Italian is great too. Sometimes i'm in the mood for steak and potatoes, sometimes I make Chicken Alfredo. It all depends. I like Hawaiian food on an occasional basis, same as Chinese and Japanese. And I love Sushi, I actually force myself to stay away from it so I don't get tired of it.

The six things I could never do without
1. My bass. I always play it when i'm bored and it's always somewhere nearby.
2. My truck. Love my beat up p.o.s. of a pickup. No air, no power steering, but I ain't giving it up any time soon.
3. My family. I love my family even when I argue with them. We get along great and i'm always chatting with my sister.
4. My cellphone. Always on the damn thing. I text constantly and because I work graveyard anybody that's up in the middle of the night knows i'm available and texts me.
5. Money in the bank. Tired of being flat broke. Not gonna let myself get anywhere close to that anymore, I have some cash in the bank and it's gonna stay that way.
6. Computer. The other thing i'm always on. I'm a huge nerd so i'm online pretty much everyday.

On a typical Friday night I am
Unfortunately i'm usually sitting at home. I've hit that post-high school phase were my friends and I don't go out all the time. We don't have the money and other than hanging out with one another at one of our places there isn't too many places we go. Don't really care if that sounds lame, but we just like being around each other and we don't need a mall or a dance club to do that.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
What do you mean? Sexually? Emotionally? I'll talk about my sex life till the end of time. I'm a guy, that's what we do. But only my close friends or signifigant others get to see my emotional side.
