Born and raised in Iowa and lived in Seattle for a few years. I came to D.C. for work and am really enjoying the city. I don't like being idle. I'm pretty ambitious and am looking for ways to improve myself either career-wise or life-wise. My outlook on life is that things--good and bad--happen at random. It's what you do after those things happen that make you who you are as a person.

Work: Working for the man on the Federal level (i.e., an attorney at HHS). Dream Job: In-house counsel at a health system.

Life: Enjoying the arts (performing and visual), watching or playing sports, or exploring D.C. (museums, art galleries, etc.).

Movies: Anything that provides escapism, thinking, or snarky comments.

Television: Community, House, South Park, Simpsons, Archer, Dog Whisperer, Whose Line is It Anyway, Mystery Science Theater 3000, The Mentalist, Colbert Report

Music: Anything but pop country.
