After living in Seoul for a while, it's really strange to be back in the USA again. Even though I'm Caucasian, white people all kind of look the same to me now. While I was living in Korea I seriously had to watch all the way through the first half of Season 2 of True Blood before I could tell the difference between stoic bossy-pants Vampire guy, and scruffy animal changer dude. When I got off the plane I was like "OMG there are only 5 white people of each gender in the USA, and everyone else is a clone!" For this reason, non-Caucasians tend to catch my eye these days.
I'm currently working on my first novel, and trying to get the hang of writing teleplays (they are really different from fiction writing!).
I am passionate about language, learning, and imagination. I want to see the world and have a blast while learning about everything in it. I'm prone to daydreaming, but rather than losing touch with reality this little quirk inspires me to experience more of it.
I love 노래방 (private room karaoke), figure skating, and fiction writing.
