I'm a hard working father to two awesome kids. I really enjoy my time with them.

I love the outdoors (hiking, camping, skiing) and traveling. I've been fortunate to live in a wide variety of places including other US states, Asia and Europe. Even with all that travel I still have a large number of places I've not been and want to go (Australia and NZ are on the list!).

I'm currently in the process of getting my black belt in Taekwondo (expected in Nov 2013). That experience has been very interesting and rewarding (I joined to do it with my son and turns out I love it).

I'm honest and trustworthy. I love to learn new things. I try to soak up as much I can from every individual and interaction.

Work hard, play harder.
I try to be the best father I can be. I consider that my most important job.
My schedule most days is made up of work, kids and/or Taekwondo.

Thinking about and helping others. It makes me happy to make others happy.
Figuring things out (problem solver).

Upbeat energetic attitude. I'm very outgoing.

Books: whatever book my daughter is on in her 'learning to read' series! I tend to lean toward non-fiction/biographies for myself.

Movies: big fan of Shawshank Redemption. Probably my favorite movie of all time is The Princess Bride.

Shows: Discovery or Science Channel. Don't do too much reality TV... Not a big Idol fan, but I do like "The Voice". Recently, I've tried to find other things to keep me busy other than the TV. It was a lot easier than I thought.

Music: A little of everything. DMB, Pearl Jam (actually my fav if I had to name just one), Avett Brothers, Ben Harper, Ray LaMontagne, The Civil Wars, James Taylor, Blues Traveler, Robert Cray... too many to mention (I have over 500 unique artists listed in my collection... I just looked because writing this made me curious!).

Food: Sushi is a favorite. I like Italian, Mexican, Indian and others too. I also enjoy a good old fashioned american cheeseburger once in a while! I like both beer and wine, though I don't drink often. Oh, and I make killer chocolate chip pancakes.

Might be obvious but kids are #1.
