My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Very outgoing, vivacious, and spirited woman that just wants to make sure she's having a positive mark on the world.

Rockin the short hair so if you're one of those weirdo men that requires only long hair on your lady - I'm not for you! Don't worry though - I've never once been confused for a boy ;).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I always try to ensure im living life to the fullest. For example, flying home for a night to be a VIP guest at the President's speech on higher education, then heading back to NYC the next day because my sister won tickets to the Robin Thicke concert. Living in NYC means seeing your friend's mom perform In Carmen at the Metropolitan Opera or getting a book signed by Economist Joseph Stiglitz at a fundraiser. I live for the concentration of talent, passion, and hard work in this town. Which brings me to...

My job(s): I work in local politics here in NYC. I also teach a basic economics course to construction worker aprentices at a labor school. I hold very Progressive values and am very passionate about making the world a better place. I sing in a choir, I play ultimate frisbee (pretty well actually!), i knit, I sometimes watch a little too much tv, and I esp. enjoy meeting new people and connecting them with others.

I also really love spinning, yoga, and most importantly quality time with friends and family. Life is all about balance!

Finally - I strongly believe in kindness and helping others. What nice thing did you do for someone today?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making things happen.
Being passionate about public service and saving the world.
Singing, dancing (for a white girl), hosting a party, being interesting.
What can I say? People tell me I have that "something special" - whatever that means!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile.
My sense of humor.
My very outgoing personality.
I have a twin sister...sometimes a bit confusing for folks.
You tell me!

Food: I like and am willing to try pretty much everything so I think it's easier to just explain that dry tasteless food is the bane of my existence.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A book to read or papers to grade while waiting...
Manicures and "corpse pose" in Yoga - two times that I feel really and truely relaxed.

How incredibly lucky I am...and how not to take that for granted!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging with anywhere from 1 - 4 of my awesome roommates, playing ultimate frisbee (warm weather specific) and enjoying my time whether it be at happy hour, a party, or staying in with a glass of wine and a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I've been arrested before. It was expunged, so "legally" I can say I've never been arrested. But I have. I'm a badass ;)

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're kind, intelligent, passionate, confident, and funny. If you are looking for a woman that you can show off to your friends and nerd out with on your couch.

Also if you hate selfies. I HATE selfies. If a majority of your photos are selfies, you're either really self absorbed or have no friends.

(And if any of your photos are shirtless workout selfies, please don't bother. You could be really great, but I'll never be able to take you seriously...leave something to the imagination!)
