Have been told I'm intimidating. I hope that's not the case. (Good career, smart, outgoing, and all around kick ass isn't intimidating to me! That's what I want in a partner so am bringing the same.)
My job(s): I work in local politics here in NYC. I also teach a basic economics course to construction worker aprentices at a labor school. I hold very Progressive values and am very passionate about making the world a better place. I tutor a lot now as well - but I used to sing in a choir, play ultimate frisbee and kickball, and now I knit, I sometimes watch a little too much tv, and I esp. enjoy meeting new people and connecting them with others.
I also really love spinning, yoga, and most importantly quality time with friends and family. Life is all about balance!
Finally - I strongly believe in kindness and helping others. What nice thing did you do for someone today?
Being passionate about public service and saving the world.
Singing, dancing (for a white girl), hosting a party, being interesting.
Conversing - but don't make me do all the work please! Ask questions in return :)
What can I say? People tell me I have that "something special" - whatever that means!
My sense of humor.
My very outgoing personality.
I have a twin sister...sometimes a bit confusing for folks.

How incredibly lucky I am...and how not to take that for granted!
I'll be honest, lately it's consisted of staying at work and then coming home to knit or go to bed. But I can be persuaded to come out for a good whiskey cocktail!
