Is it that hard to find someone who can be loyal, respectful, intelligent, sarcastic, witty, caring, affectionate, compassionate, and loving all in one? Someone who brightens your day even when they're not around and thoughtful enough to leave you a little note to tell you they're thinking of you? Someone who wraps his arms around you and kisses you deeply every time you see one another? Someone with a rough and tumble attitude but has a soft spot for those close to him? Not if you look closely; a book should never be judged merely by its cover.
Yes I have tattoo's (more and more) and a motorcycle but I also have my collection of records - love music of all kinds, my art work (ceramics, sculpture, and photography), I am a great cook, hold a professional job in aerospace, and can hang with the best and worst of them. That being said, I am hard to put in one container. A "Jack of all trades" one might say. The one thing I can say about myself is that I am my own person; I don't define myself as this, that or the other, I am an individual with some rare qualities and I am grateful to share these with people around me. They also make me what I am and for that I am also thankful.
I hold doors open for people, love animals (some say I am the "Dog Whisperer" which amuses me), I say "Please" and "Thank You" but I can also tell you where to go if you're rude. I try to treat people with the respect I'd expect in return and if it's not reciprocated... well, there are plenty of other people on this planet that do appreciate it.
So about my art work: It's the one half of me that I have been enjoying a lot more in the last few years. Things are looking great as I am represented by a few galleries now but I aspire to create merely as a means of self-expression. If people dig it, all the better.
No one is perfect but I do think that there are people out there pretty much made for one another in some capacity. If two people can enjoy what they have together, then why not?
Well, I think I have rattled enough off here for now. Much more to discover if you flip through the pages of the book rather than just reading the cover. ;)
