I'd call myself a fun-loving and laid-back guy.. I'm very flexible
and open to a lot of things! I like to do stuff outdoors when it's
not too hot. And if I was to rattle off a short list of things I
like to do, I would say getting comfy on the couch, traveling,
listening to music, watching movies, getting to know people, and
hanging out with friends.
I'm also open to the idea of spending the day not accomplishing too
What I’m doing with my life
I was in California for the past year, interning with one of the
tech giants -- Best. Time. Of my life! -- and recently I just
finished roadtripping my way back to Cali to start working there
full-time! Had a great time, saw a lot of things, and had a few
cool experiences along the way.
Every few weeks I try to travel somewhere new.. earlier last year I
drove to Laguna Beach and back in a day.. a month or two later I
spent the day visiting UC Davis and had dinner in SF on the way
back home.. a year ago I flew my parents in to CA and drove them up
and down the coast, from Muir Woods to Big Sur and back.. and when
I'm not busy doing all of that, every few weeks I tend to drive
down to Santa Cruz and hit the beach.
I’m really good at
Having a good sense of humor, and generally being fun to be around.
I don't make enemies easily.. does that make sense?
The first things people usually notice about me
Honestly? Probably that I'm a good listener. Quickly followed by my
sense of humor. Then followed by my eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies? I really like 2001 A Space Odyssey and 2010. The Room
should also get an honorable mention, great movie to watch with a
group of friends and a case of beers. Looper is pretty excellent
too. I'm usually a sucker for sci-fi, but I can work with almost
Since I started college, I cut down on my television, so most of
what I watch now is limited to The Daily Show, The Colbert Report,
Mad Men, and some Dexter. But just a little.
My taste in music is a bit unusual for an Athens-born, but I like
music by Jack Johnson (his good stuff is pretty good!), Hybrid,
Portishead (!!), Moby, Muse, Norah Jones, Oasis, Randy Newman,
RHCP, Starflyer 59, The Killers, Pink Martini (!!), Flight Of The
Conchords (if that's what you're into), Sublime (guilty pleasure),
Billie Holiday, and all the old-school big-band music that I can
get my hands on from the 40's and 50's. Because really, what's not
The six things I could never do without
My friends, my family, my backpack, phone, car, and a good-night's
sleep. Emphasis on that last one.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What things I need to accomplish, like big long-term and small
short-term goals, making a list of them, and going out and doing
them. It's not like they're going to do themselves, right?
On a typical Friday night I am
Either watching a movie or seeing whats on TV, or out having a
drink with friends. Being kinda lazy, haha.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Probably that I'm on this site.
You should message me if
If you read the above and thought "What do you mean someone so
awesome actually exists?!" and you'd like to get to know me haha.
