I'm an East Coast transplant in LA (by way of Seattle). I moved here to work in the television industry, but have had a hard time learning to love this city; endless suburban sprawl is not exactly my cup of tea. However, I've recently discovered Downtown, and begun taking the LA Conservancy's tours of its different neighborhoods and architectural history. Amazing! I know it may sound silly, but I feel centered here now in a way I didn't before.

I'm friendly and outgoing, but a little shy at first, especially in crowds of strangers. I'm very honest (sometimes a bit too much). I expect a lot from my friends, but I give a lot in return. One of my best friends once told a new girlfriend that I would treat her like gold if she let me (she didn't, by the way. Oh, the pain! Comedy is tragedy plus time.)

I'm not really into sports, although as someone from the Pittsburgh area I'm legally required to root for the Steelers (or "Stillers" as they call them in the 'Burg).

I love to laugh, so super-brownie points to you if you can crack me up.

The first kiss is the hardest part of a date for me, so if you like me please give me some kind of sign! Otherwise, much awkwardness may ensue.

I'm an aspiring writer working in the television industry. I've got a couple credits under my belt, and signed with my first proper agent last year. I just finished writing a new P.I./action-adventure pilot that will hopefully get me some general meetings that lead to getting staffed this spring.
