My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a professional man recent to San Francisco who would love to be inspired and intrigued by an intelligent woman living life to her fullest. I like to spice my conversations with a little unexpected humor and hope that you are someone that can receive and reciprocate in your own special way.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I moved to San Francisco a year ago to make a conscious transition in the way I live my life. I am learning more about expanding and improving my relations with those involved with me, building better connections, and expressing my own life energy with strong purpose and with a little more flow and fun for all of us.

I am here pursuing my own longtime interests in art and creative people, and am just beginning to get involved in some new artistic and creative endeavors of my own. Maybe that’s really why I headed straight to LA after law school in Boston to break into music, film and television as an entertainment attorney. I loved my 16 years as an entertainment attorney representing a fascinating potpourri of independent producers, directors, actors, artists, photographers, production folks, musicians and, yes, creative business people. I am delighted to be involving myself with that magnificent energy again.

For that analytical side of my brain, I recently completed a graduate program here in SF in technical analysis of securities. Now I trade stocks and futures for myself, and wow!, what an unexpected, intriguing path to further self-discovery about my own real beliefs, desires, needs and decision-making! And, it's led unexpectedly to exploration of energy play, which I find is another beautiful path for personal awareness, enhanced connections and creating - for myself, the people I care for, and my larger communities.

I live well by serendipity these days - there are numerous fascinating adventures woven in every circumstance, and I am quite skilled at finding one, or a few! I really enjoy it all! And, I am very grateful to the many wonderful people I have met in SF and throughout the Bay Area.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Humor, but not joke telling. I love good jokes - I just can't remember them very well. I am much better at finding the odd perspective on a situation, strange juxtapositions, or inserting the well-timed wise-crack, sarcasm or non-sequitur. And sometimes, they are even insightful.

I love to find creative ways to help make the lives of people I care about easier and more fun. I get a kick when I can do something that helps someone make a sudden leap forward in something important to him or her. When I can, I like to surprise people in that way – that’s a bonus for me. I love helping someone who inspire others, or helping someone live their own inspiration.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes, and of course, my height.
I tend to talk with my hands when I get going, so be prepared for a little contact conversation.
My gentle but roguish humor will always try to break out early. For better or worse, it has its own life sometimes and I can only hold it back so long.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Real Italian cooking (I miss my Nonna) , Mexican, Thai, French (Southern France, wow), Chinese, East Indian, Indonesian, Peruvian... OK, just about any well prepared meal.

I am a fool for movies. I love the stories, the acting, and the filmmaking artistry and craft. I recognize and admire the imagination, attention and effort involved at all levels, even when the film doesn't really come together. I love high adventure, thrillers and romance films, especially well-done romantic comedies.

Honestly, I love really small theater, where I can feel the sweat and heat of the players - and the director is frantic and not-in-control, while the writer, the genesis (and maybe genius), is ignored (there oughtta be a law). But yes, Big Broadway and Big Vegas shows are fantastic. KA, Wicked, Phantom of the Opera are awesome.

I love well written thrillers and detective novels, especially psychological thrillers. I read Stieg Larsson in Swedish before his US breakout. Just kidding, but I did read his trilogy (in English) when it first trickled over long ago. I loved his characters and stories and he spurred me onto many other Northern and Eastern European writers, thanks to some great book gifts from a friend. Thank you friend!

Classic rock: Led Zepplin. Stones. The Grateful Dead. The Band. Cream. Janis. Beatles. Motown. Blondie.
Electronic: Because a guy at my gym kept playing alternate music channels, I grew to love techno trance dance music, house and drum'n'bass, especially when on the move - like when surfing the hot desert highway, in rhythym with the black gaps in the white line, effortlessly gliding into the low shimmering sun. OK, I'm nurturing a secret desire to create some of my own.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Humor - offbeat is good.
Something intriguing to figure out.
Sensual Sexual Energy.
Serendipity and Surprise.

After I recently mentioned to someone that flat land makes me crazy, I realize I better add...

Hills! Yes, I love hills! Steep hills, rounded hills, curvy hills, pointed hills, bare hills, forested hills, canyons and valleys. I love wondering and imagining from the bottom of what's up at the top, and the view and panting satisfaction at the top (and maybe a fleeting sense of superiority). Nothing better than the winding anticipatory journey up, and the twisting effortless thrill down... Hills yes.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Making better, more intimate connections.
Putting the "final" touches on my new SF apartment.
Trading stocks and what to do with the results.
How to play a little more.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Having a glass of good wine or a good meal in a new place with a new friend; Taking in a fun performance, or a new workshop.
