Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello there, my name is Nick and I'm from Pennsylvania. I'm a
History major that happens to like both Science and Math which
qualifies me as your standard nerd. I like to read the comics in
the paper while I drink me a nice cup of coffee. I have interests
in drawing, but for the most part I think it's safe to say that I'm
a cartoonist. I also have hobbies like making things out of wood,
or collecting antiques. But for the most part, I'm usually that
quiet guy that once you get him going, you find yourself debating
on hearing on what he has to say, or going "that's one odd fellow."
Side note: I'm also a big Beatles fan, and I should put the good
ol' disclaimer that I have a bit of a sailor mouth and my humor can
travel as far as the dark sides of the galaxy.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated from Kutztown University and I'm going to take life as
it comes, but eventually put my foot in the right door. So far
though, I have a simple office job that kicks retail's butt into
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making breakfasts, particularly crepes! Wood chopping is up there,
along with cartooning. I was told I should be in physical therapy
for how well I give massages, but the idea of touching strangers
kinda irks me a little.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I happen to dress sharply when I go to work, a dress shirt and a
tie, and often a nice haircut are dead giveaways on finding out
that it's me. The longest I've ever had my hair is what I dubbed to
be "Beatles '66."
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I'm not much of a reader to be honest. The only ones I like so far
are The Great Gatsby (even though we all had to read it in school)
Red Harvest, Passing, The Scott Pilgrim series. That's all I could
Movies on the other hand, favorites include: The Atomic Cafe, Dr.
Strangelove, A Hard Day's Night, The Italian Job, Gran Torino, The
Producers, Wreck-it Ralph, I hope they serve beer in Hell, and a
lot more to list.
Music tends to mix around with the stuff of the 1920s to about now.
I'm not a big fan of most of the music today, but some get me good
like Capital Cities and that Macklemore fellow. But for the core
music region? It's 1940s swing to 1990s Alternative.
Food. If it doesn't have Chicken, there's a problem.
As for Television, I definitely fell in love with watching Breaking
Bad, and I slowly got into The Walking Dead. But others shows that
I enjoy are Modern Marvels, Mad Men, Mythbusters, How It's Made,
Adventure Time, Parks and Recreation, Chowder, It's Always Sunny in
Philadelphia, House M.D., and a little bit of Top Gear every once
in a while.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends and Family
Listening to my vinyl collection
Playing with the cat
Being able to walk into the woods and relax for a while
A great adventure
Being able to just let go for a while and draw and play guitar.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How all I would want out of life is to be close to my friends and
family, and be able to find someone to be my beautiful wife, in a
wonderful home, with two amazing kids.
...and a tiny car. I don't understand it, but I do have this thing
about tiny cars that gets me all giddy.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I've been focusing a lot on lifting now since it does help with
stress. And having muscles does have a lot of benefits, for
instance, now chopping wood becomes a bit easier. But also, doing a
comic up because I draw a series that I post on facebook.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I one time got on my knees and tearfully yelled "NO!" outside of a
dominoes when I went drinking with my friends one night because the
last cinnamon donut fell out of the box and rolled down a hill.

but if you want to chat with a retro-lovin', tiny car obsessed,
