My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Aloha, Life is short...and so is this summary for the time being.
My summary is that my life is not yet ready to be summarized. So much to do yet.
I currently find myself in a place where I can't go surfing. I miss Florida, the beaches, sitting on a chair with the waves washing over my feet and the ocean breezes whispering in my ears. My suntan has faded but not the memories of Daytona Beach Florida!
I am an outdoors person. Most days in Florida you could bet I'd be bicycling, surfing, canoing, fishing, hiking, camping or....
You might be thinking "You can do that in Wisconsin.". This is true, but it's just not the same. At some point in time I will move back to Florida.
I moved to my birthplace of Racine Wisconsin in order to find an environment conducive to starting my business. "Thoughts become things." I will be successful!
Art! Art! Did I say ART? I sketch, draw, paint, throw some clay from time to time, sculpt, carve, woodburning (pyrography), weave, sew, photograph, make custom furniture, make handcrafted wood boats.... I find beauty in so many things and places, a mushroom growing on a lichen covered log, clouds....so many beautiful clouds....rain falling, walking in the woods while rain is falling....I have hundreds of rolls or undeveloped film from my 35mm days, still, an undiscovered treasure trove of forgotten images waiting to be rediscovered....thank heaven for digital photography! I love dragons and damsels in distress, and women warriors kicking some ass. I love to go to art museums, any kind of museum actually, even if I have already been there many times before.

I am improving, optimistic, and wise
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
What I'm doing with my life? I am concentrating on turning my hobby and love, make that passionate pursuit, of creating the worlds finest handcrafted wooden canoes, kayaks and small boats, into a successful business.
In my spare time I look for some one to share my life with. My sister says I'm looking for apples in orange groves. If this is true then I should be in my tent or out in my canoe right now. Maybe some nice woman will come along her her canoe.
I spend a lot of time in my workshop...not too many women there either.
I am studying for my private pilots license...maybe I'll run into a woman while flying...ouch, that might leave a mark.
I spend too much time on my computer.
I think that days should be 48 hours long, and screw this trend towards 4 day work weeks, wussies. If you have crazy religious misconceptions about working on Sunday, or Saturday depending on your chosen religion, then pass me by because the only way you'll get me to stop....OK there is no way. BTW, Jesus was a carpenter and he worked on Sunday! All you mohammed following nutcases....like the scientologists, you are hopelessly clueless, shut up, go home and mind your own damned business!!!! No I am not intolerant, just educated and capable of actually using my brain for something besides thinking of all the people I could hate and or kill. Politicians and religions have practiced "suspension of reality" for far too long...and they think artists are crazy...HA. People who base their existence on a "Book", (quran, bible or ?), could just as easily be using Dr Suess's "Horton Hears a WHO"! Also, graduating from Harvard DOES NOT automatically make you "smart" and everyone else "stupid"!
Enough said.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at...This could take many pages, to describe the cornucopia of skills and experience that I possess. I am not a couch potato and engage in a wide variety of activities and skills.
I build the best handcrafted hardwood small boats in the world. I love using them too! I have built boats from 9 feet to 75 feet long. I am a capable sailor who plans on circumnavigating the earth in a sailboat built by me.
I went to college for art and I am a really good artist. I would post some of my artwork here if this site didn't have such narrow minded rules. When I draw someone or something, it actually looks like them.
I am a professional, correction...was...now it's just a hobby, mechanic involved in building custom cars, hot rods, street rods and race cars.
My father and I used to build homes, so I have those skills also. I've done everything from foundation to roofing and all in-between.
I have built aircraft also. Once I finish getting my pilots license I plan on building a seaplane. Landing on water opens all those remote lakes as accessible!
I, I, I.... I'm tired of talking about me!
The first things people usually notice about me

The first thing(s) people usually notice about me? Good question? I don't presume to be a mind reader, nor do I ask people such esoteric questions.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food....Comic books, animation, lots of music and chocolate...(does that count as food?)
Seriously, most recently "The Secret". The book "Hidden Messages In Water" by Masaru Emoto. I love used bookstores and library sales, although I have a hard time not going home with a ton of books. I used to have one room of my house literally filled with books, boxes and boxes and stacks from wall to wall! Then my home was broken into and everything I owned was stolen, yes EVERYTHING, imagine coming home and the only thing left in it is a Burger King bag and trash in the middle of the living room floor.
Movies; "What the Bleep..." I have the four disc DVD set, "The Secret". All six "Star Wars", the Lord of the Rings series. I want the entire collection of all the seasons of "Stargate" plus the movies. All the James Bond movies. ANYTHING anime...I have a pretty big collection of animation! Movies based on comic books. I have a fairly big collection of John Wayne movies, he was the most prolific actor of all time. "Meet Joe Black" awesome. The six hour SciFi channel production of "Dune' and the three hour sequel "Children of Dune". Ray Harryhausen's "Sinbad"s "Jason and the Argonauts" and "Clash of the Titans". Lots of surfing movies and documentaries....
Music; yes to all except rap or hate based crap!
My favorite food would be cooked over an open fire, in front of a tent....with chocolate for dessert :)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The six things I could never do without? There is nothing in life, that can not be lived without. Unless you find yourself in the middle of the forest miles and miles from civilization, then it would be helpful to have a good knife!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking about....canoes, kayaks, dories, prams, tenders, sailboats, did I say canoes...
What you think about, you bring about, the law of attraction is a centuries old rule. Thoughts become things.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
On a typical Friday night....I would rather be on my way to the campsite.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here....is that I have a twelve inch long penis....just seeing if you were still reading, hahaha.

You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You should message me if....you really feel the need to. If you have a boat, of any kind, and want some help using it! You want to buy a boat. Artists are encouraged to get in touch with me. You need a fellow photographer to accompany you on your next excursion to seek images. You're a writer and want to help me with writing my books, or you are a publisher. You bought the lie about the 12 incher and have no sex toys...yet, let me know if I should bring some.
