My self-summary
Take pride in your Geekdom.

I am a geek...and yes, I am damn proud of it. I never leave my towel at home, I have not been tempted by the one ring, I know where the next floating market will be, I was seriously wounded but my soul still burns... I go to bed with a crowbar at my side in case of zombie attack, the scar on my forehead burns every now and then, I've had sex with Janet Weiss, I still don't know why there are so many songs about rainbows, oh and everybody dies in the end of another seven book series they're slowly making movies out of.

I'm not pagan, I'm not Jewish, I'm not Christian, I'm not terribly religious at all... and it's okay if one is, they're all great things to have faith in. If anything, I believe that great Cthulhu will rise up and destroy mankind, it's a bit far fetched but it's something that strikes up a good conversation as well.

I have a BA in animation and fine arts and my second Bachelors in Industrial Design to become a special effects makeup / puppet artist or medical prosthetics designer.

I am possibly the most rational artist you will ever meet.

This is from when OKcupid was just starting out and we had to pick three words to describe ourselves and I thought I was being clever ^_^:

I am a zombie hunter, who's sweet, and invisible
What I’m doing with my life
I try to keep a social life that amuses the toughest of minds.

I now have three jobs, none that satisfy me: working at a Rehab center doing my file clerk thing, working at a puppet studio for my non profit thing, third is delivery for a lighting service which is just annoying. Right now, I really, really, really, want to visit the House on the Rock

I’m really good at
Being comfortable around people and being comfortable in silence.

I try to help anyone around me, even if they're someone I've just met. I also tend to go above and beyond for people, it's just in my nature I guess...

I would say that I'm good at art, I love what I do and I earn praise for my works but, I can't tell you I'm good at art until you see... Only you can tell me if you think it's any good... making money is one thing, enjoyment is worth much more.

I also like to think I hold intelligent conversations... even if I can't think up things to say on the spot.
The first things people usually notice about me
First thing tends to be my smile, secondly somehow I know it's my breasts, and yes I'm self conscious of them. Other than that I'm not sure, I don't think I've actually asked anyone that before...

Okay, so I've asked and people seem to be noticing my glasses, I never realized how many people like girls in glasses. Also, people give me the three S's, Smart, Sweet and Sexy... which sometimes makes me laugh but it's the three most common terms associated with myself and that's neat.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Just so you know, I generally don't read this section on other profiles, not that I don't care, but reading lists is not a favorite pastime of mine:

Books:House of Leaves is my favorite book, Story of O, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, any H.P. Lovecraft, Shakespeare, Harry Potter books, quiet you, James Herbert, The Whalestoe Letters, Symphony of Ages, Hamlet, Good Omens, American Gods, Neverwhere, Cages by Dave McKean many others....of course I count comic books too but I've never had the money to get into series comics like the popular Batman, Superman stuff, mostly trades like Planetary, The Watchmen, Rising Stars, House of Mystery, etc.

Movies: I love Jim Henson so all of his movies appear on this list anyway, including his version of Cube, also Star Wars, (V, IV, VI, III, II, I), Lord of the Rings, any Monty Python related thing...Hamlet Kenneth Branaugh's version, Quills, Sweeney Todd, Metropolis, Legend, The Cabinet of Dr Caligari, Mirrormask, Double Indemnity, M, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead , Battleship Potemkin, El Topo, Pan's Labrinth, Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness, Eraserhead, Paprika, Perfect Blue, ... I spent too many years as a film student. I like anime too, but I tend to be selective about it... I like independent movies more than mainstream.

Shows: I don't really watch a lot of Television, but I enjoy The Mentallist, Dr. Martin, Monty Python's Flying Circus, uh... there's probably a few more... I watch cartoons more than real people though. Metalocalypse, Super Jail, Adventure Time, Family Guy, ATHF, The Misadventures of Flapjack, Chowder. I'm game for just about any cartoon as long as it doesn't fall into the 6 billion episodes of filler, "KAAAAAAAA MAAAAEEEE.... KAAAAAAA- And next week! KAAAAAAAHHH!" yadda yadda... no I'm not a fan of DBZ or Naruto, but like hell am I going to be a hater on it. I mean really... I like watching Spongebob Squarepants I can't complain for enjoying cultural educational shows such as these.

Music: No More Kings,Blind Guardian, Carbon Leaf, Blackmore's Night, Blue Man Group, Rush, Poe, Kwoon, Elvis Costello, BoA, The Seatbelts, Daft Punk, Dragon Force, Dr. Steel, Hammerfall, Voltaire, The Spooks, Gordon Lightfoot, ... at this point I'm just reading off my Ipod... there's... a lot.

Food:Well... I don't like real tomatoes, I can handle a sauce, or ketchup, but I don't like the texture of them...and I don't like spicy food, or rather spicy food doesn't like me... damn this English stomach! But I like a lot of things like sushi, asparagus, salmon, tuna, pizza, steak... I'm an omnivore but, it's by choice, nobody is forcing me to eat this way.
The six things I could never do without
Simple machines, my towel, a pen, hinges, my sketchbook, thoughts... and since there's a trend of going up to seven here, I will say the Wilhelm scream.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think about a lot of things ... I will spend four hours in bed, trying to sleep, but only successful in thinking about everything else I have to do the next day

The laws of Thermodynamics.
Rainbows are circular.
The tensile strength of 1/2" foam.
How many people are living their childhood dream.
I prefer listening than reading conversations.
I hate facebook for the drama it causes others.
On a typical Friday night I am
I like to read, hang out, drive out to the movies, go as far as 232 will take me or end up playing D&D with my friends. ...most recently I'm gaming on Saturdays, which is not Friday but it is at night.

I love role playing D&D, Adventure!, Changeling, Paranoia, Hero, Stuperpowers, Call of Cthulhu, Vampire, Tales from the Floating Vagabond, Werewolf, Mage, anything!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a sucker for romance... except in movies... as much as I want
to deny it, I'm a traditionalist in dating.

I want to be courted all Cyrano to Roxane... without the dying, or
Romeo to Juliet... without the dying... or Hamlet to Ophelia,
without the dying... or or or Aaron to Tamora... minus the eating
of meat pies made from sons, the chopping off of hands and heads,
sticks stuck for hands, tongue removal and without the dy- yanno...
just a beer is good.
I’m looking for
  • Everybody
  • Ages 23–50
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
Y, U, and R are not words. OMG, LOL, LFMAO, etc. are to be used with a license of awesome and restraint. Keep your penis in your pants and a spell check handy if possible... spell check optional but, it's a plus. Please keep this in mind when messaging me if you want a response... bitchy? possibly... but I'm tired of seeing it.

Geek me out about anything! I like to talk to the peoples.

Friends are awesome, you gotta be awesome too.
