I am funny, charming, and nerdy.

My Self-Summary

I'm a pretty laid back guy. I like where I'm at in my life. I think I'm funny (looking lol). I'm also a pretty big nerd and not ashamed to admit it. I'm into tech things and I love gadgets. I buy video game systems on a whim. I love going to Disney (annual pass ftw), especially trying new restaurants there.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently working doing computer support at the local university. When I'm not there, I'm usually on my computer at home either playing World of Warcraft or surfing the web or watching TV. Occasionally, I can be found on the driving range or at the disc golf course. Those happen kind of infrequently, but I'm trying to get out more.

I’m really good at

Troubleshooting. I think I have a pretty good knack for figuring out why something's not working the way it should. Naturally, this helps a lot in my job, but it also extends to other things like cars and electronics, etc.

The first things people usually notice about me

Here's one of those self-deprecating answers where I say I don't think people notice me. I'm never one to engage people so it's hard to answer this one.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I don't so much have favorite books as I have favorite authors, which are Sidney Sheldon, Piers Anthony, John Grisham, umm that's about it. I don't read a ton. Oh I also really like the Dragonlance series. I've also recently picked up Freakonomics and Neil Gaiman's latest, but haven't gotten around to those yet.

For music, I'd say my primary likes are in the ambient/chill area and like new agey stuff. I'm not afraid to say I'm a Yanni fan. I've seen him in concert multiple times and they've been awesome. I can also be caught listening to either the top40 or 80s station at work. Oh, also, I have an embarrassingly large collection of christmas music.

Let's see here, movies. A Few Good Men, Dances With Wolves, An American President, every Pixar movie, every Kevin Smith movie, every Bond movie, Fargo eh, the Bourne trilogy.

And food: sushi. I honestly can't get enough.

Lastly, TV shows (not sure why that's not in the question): In the no longer on department: The Wire, The West Wing, Arrested Development, Queer as Folk, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Friends, Will & Grace. In the current department: Lost, Heroes, House, Amazing Race, Survivor, The Big Bang Theory, Family Guy, How I Met Your Mother, CSI, Glee, Fringe, 30 Rock, The Office, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Mentalist. I watch too much TV. :)

The six things I could never do without

1. My computer
2. My iPhone
3. My internet
4. My TV
5. My friends and family
6. My health

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Interesting things I can do online (when in doubt, BuzzFeed) or ways to improve my World of Warcraft character.

On a typical Friday night I am

Going out for sushi, possibly seeing a movie, or playing on the computer. I'm not an "out on the town" kind of person.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm not very sociable, I hate having to go somewhere where I don't know people, i.e., a friend's party or something.
