I enjoy my life very much. I like exploring inside my brain and outside in the world, reading and book stores, animals of all kinds, cafes and cupcakes, live shows, storytelling, haunted houses, Halloween, Carnivale, Rome, nice restaurants/cheap eats, burlesque, Coney Island, history, horseback riding, scuba diving, running when I'm not injured, antique jewelry and of course, family and friends.
I don't believe in the "you complete me" theory of love, it's a marketing ploy and just not the way human beings are designed to function. Rather, there are some people who are just energetically and biologically suited to bring out really cool things in each other. And, if you're careful to work on yourself enough that you don't just end up repeating patterns and you're not in a rush, you have a shot at finding an ally, lover and friend. And to me, the point of finding this person is that you have adventures together that are more wonderful than you could have apart. This is the theory that I am betting my life on, at any rate. I do believe in love though, in case you were wondering--the soul moving, strange reckoning kind...
By the way, I'm in a long-term relationship with Manhattan, so if you're planning on falling madly in love with me, you may want to weigh the benefits of that against having a car ;)
