My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello, thank you for stopping in! So, me in a nutshell.. I'm an Ohio transplant and have been enjoying Colorado since 2005. I feel the best part of living here besides the great weather is having the mountains and hiking so close. I own my business, which is rewarding.
I enjoy a wide variety of music, love to laugh, travel, converse about the human condition, films.. I try to be in nature frequently to maintain my sanity. I believe in a work hard, play hard mindset.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just traveled through Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. For now, I want to enjoy fall and strengthen some friendships that I may have neglected this summer. I'm looking forward to seeing the aspens turn to gold soon!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I can generally figure out how to fix most anything mechanical given enough time. I love figuring out how things come apart and the history of they came together. To be fair my greatest weakness is interior design. Color wheels confuse me.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
First appearance. . My infectious grin? Other than that I probably look like a Denver guy in his mid 30's- we all seem to miss a shave here and there and wear boots with shorts, that sort of thing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My favorite book of all time is Atlas Shrugged. It. not for eveveryone but that book has brought tears to my eyes. The movie not so much. The book Dune is the second runner up. I love Clive Barker, Christopher Moore, Stephen King, David Deida, the list goes on. Was just reading some Osho. I read the Maze Runner series a while back. I'm a very infrequent reader.

Music- I'm digging Of Monster and Men right now, Florence and the Machines, just pulled some Alice in Chains out of the vault along with some U2.. Tim Easton never stays too far from the radio, Leonard Cohen is good on a quiet night, love the Magnetic Fields, Ryan Adams, Spoon, The Replacements; Echo and the Bunnymen are a favorite, Ryan Adams, The X's, R.E.M. etc. I drive most of the day for work and often listen to motivational books on tape.. Kevin Trudeau, A New Earth, some Wayne Dyer now and then.

The best show I've ever seen was probably either The Tragically Hip in Detroit or The Twilight Singers at my former favorite bar in Columbus, Little Brothers. Pure electric. The Black Keys rocked my world too.

Food- never too hard to find me at the Elephant Bar happy hour in the Belmar. I am an eclectic eater, and like to travel the world with food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends, trees, my passport, movies, the mountains, laughter. Seven? My Kindle app. On another note..A lot of people say chapstick.. is there something I'm missing out on?

To be fair I should place a disclaimer, for I have some things that I don't need in my life that are probably deal-breakers.

I like kids... I'm glad other people have them.

I don't follow sports at all, though it's nice when the home team wins.

I'm not a Christian, though I live a spiritual life.

I don't have any tattoos, and probably never will.

That's my disclaimer. I'm otherwise a great friend and thoughtful partner.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Daily tasks, random conversations, zen quotes, time convergences, clown invasions, vodka or rum, best hikes, zombies, food (not food for zombies- that's a no brainer.)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I am not the king of Friday night- I usually get up at 6 am Saturday to go somewhere for the weekend. Ask me about Saturday night- I have a few stories.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Buy me a drink, I'll sing you a song.
