A little more about me: I enjoy Scotch. I know nothing about ordering wine, but would love to learn. I like the Mets, but can't possibly explain why. I also love the Giants, but that's easier to understand...I think.

Although I was born and raised in NYC, I love exploring this town like a tourist. Museums and Skyscrapers and Concerts and Restaurants...so many great things to do and see at eat...what's your favorite?

I like movies. I like movies with quality acting, and I like movies with shitty acting but huge explosions.
Some recent movies I've liked: Lincoln. Django Unchained. The Day of the Jackal. The Warriors. Anchorman. Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Memento.
I like IMAX, but don't like 3D. Am I the only person that doesn't see much of a 3D effect?

Books: Murakami, Mieville, Gaiman, Saramago, Roth, Augusten Burroughs, more...
Just finished the Keith Richards and Patti Smith biographies, and I now have a much better appreciation for both artists. Any idea what I should read next?

Magazines: New York. Wired. Dwell. Vanity Fair.

TV: I watch it. I enjoyed great shows like the Wire and the Cosby Show, and Netflix is great for watching a whole series at once - working on Breaking Bad and House of Cards these days.
I must admit that I really hate Law & Order SVU. The gruesome crimes bother me.

The Black Keys. The White Stripes. Lenny Kravitz. Ke$ha. Wilco. Frank Sinatra. Jay-z. U2. U2 featuring Jay-z. Avicii. Just saw Vampire Weekend at Roseland, great show. You get the idea. I REALLY love when bands do an unexpected cover: Snow Patrol covering Beyonce's "Crazy in Love"...
Beyond that, I listen to lots of other stuff. Suggestions for new things to listen to are always welcome.

Food: I'll try anything once. Except maybe the roasted vermin they sell by the road in Asia.
