My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I was born in a small town in Oklahoma. I moved to another somewhat larger town in Oklahoma and lived there until I was 13, at which point I moved to another small town in Oklahoma. I graduated high school early, then went to another small town and back to one of the previous small towns and I managed to come out of all that with a degree and the ability to take care of myself (somewhat). When I was 24 I moved to another country, I had no friends, no job, and nowhere to live (and an angry boyfriend here who said I was stupid for doing it), but in less than a week I had all three of those things (and one less boyfriend). Because of that time abroad, I now have friends who live all over the world, and yet, I somehow managed to move back to Oklahoma. Sadly, once I moved back to Oklahoma I was hit with some losses that left me a little bit out of sorts (I have very strong connections to the people I love and I lost two very important people in less than one year). I lost sight of the things I wanted but I am now getting myself back on track.

Currently I am doing marketing and PR for a few local businesses. I have my own business planning parties and have the intentions of transitioning to a larger market soon (within the next year-year and a half I intend to be living in either New York City or London). I do have a plan and I am interested in finding people who fit in to that plan as well as my life.

In what little spare time I have I spend my time writing, attempting to standup comedy (I'm told I'm funny at times), and acting. I also like to travel, although there are a lot of places that I would like to see that I haven't been to yet. I enjoy going to museums and zoos and spending time with my dogs also (I have three). Oh... and I've been known to get into a bit of cosplay so if that's too much for you I'm sorry. I've been a geek girl since I was a kid (no I didn't start liking comic culture when the market got flooded, yes I was the only girl at my school who played Power Rangers with the boys and made sure to go straight home from school to watch X-Men).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Every time I think I know what's going on there seems to be some cosmic force that is like... "Nope, we're not gonna be doing that today." So I guess I'm just learning to go with the flow a bit more and trying to read the signs a bit better. That makes me sound less together than I truly am but I do believe that no person is able to go through life without expecting some random crap to happen to them along the way.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cutting a deck of cards of deck in half by feeling the weight of the deck and being able to tell what type of ice is in a drink by swishing the cup. Getting people excited. I can be Corky Sherwood perky at times.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not really sure. Sometimes I wonder if I am just hideously deformed because when I go out people stare at me a lot. It may just be that I am a super tall kinda fat chick though?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books and Authors:
Neil Gaiman (especially Good Omens which he did with Terry Pratchett), Mythology of all kinds (although I favor Greek), Robert Frost, Edgar Allan Poe, Shakespeare, Shel Silverstein.
I've read a lot of really good books. Those are just some of my favorite authors. I also believe I have used lines from every author listed above to break up with someone.

The two "romance" movies you will catch me watching more than once are Love Actually and The Holiday, I'm not super in to chick flicks (I'm a chick, but I don't care for the whole pandering to my desire to have a baby or a man thing, I'd rather watch a Batman movie with you!). Black and white films (I like watching TCM with my grandpa when I'm at his house, and my favorite movie is probably It Happened One Night). I also love horror movies, slasher, haunted house, vampires (that don't sparkle), etc. As long as they aren't those "found footage" ones, it was groundbreaking once upon a time (Blair Witch) but it isn't any more. I can go in for some musicals (Rocky Horror!) and I also dig an action movie. I have seen all of the Fast & Furious, Harry Potter, Batman, Star Wars, and X-Men (save for the Wolverine ones (I'm not a huge Wolverine fan) in theaters. Historical docudramas... Documentaries in general.

I've realized I watch a lot of detective, science fiction, and comedy shows. I have an unhealthy obsession with American Horror Story. I also enjoy a nice British TV show. Sometimes I watch the entire series of Daria in one day just because I can.

Every year I make a mix CD for friends and family of the new music I have found and loved throughout the year and it is always pretty eclectic, from Irish step music to country to rap. I will listen to The Beatles all day if you let me. I like music from my parents' and grandparents' time (my grandparents had me listening to old school country when I was a child, and I still don't like this pop country crap that a lot of artists put out these days, and I can dig on 60s and 70s music hard core). Oklahoma was the first state to get MTV and my mother was one of the first subscribers to the channel, music is like air to me!

Basically I will try whatever if it doesn't have a face still attached and it is dead, and not moving (because dead doesn't always mean not moving *full body shudder*).

Guinness, Sam Smith's Organic Apple Cider, Vodka (more specifically good vodka mixed with pineapple juice, if you can nearly see through it, it's perfect), rum (with Dr. Pepper, trust me, I don't like Dr. Pepper unless there is rum in it), and wine (not a wine snob but I've taken a couple of classes). Also if you think I drink too much, I really do not, I just know what I like and was lucky enough to have a liquor connoisseur for a father.

Braum's Whole Milk (Braum's is local, they have grass fed, no GMO, no steroid policies for not just their grocery items but also their burgers and fries, and you can TASTE the difference in the milk), Purplesauraus Rex Kool-Aid (it's the 80s/90s in my mouth!), Pepsi, Water, and I also enjoy hot water with honey and an orange slice in it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My loves (friends, family, dogs)
New things to do
My laptop (I wish I was able to do without it but... It's got a LOT of photos and writing that I've done and, I don't wanna lose them)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Who I would cast in a film adaptation of my favorite book.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hitting the road to visit my grandpa, or maybe reading a book, could be getting dropped off at the airport, might be out with friends, sometimes I'm just sitting at home checking out what trash I DVRed that week, and I may just be in bed. I fear monotony in life and prefer adventure.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been broken up with twice because I was "too brave" for the man I was dating. Both of them married the girls they cheated on me with and now live in their cookie cutter houses with white picket fences. Gag.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You truly believe that life is an adventure. You want to visit new places, meet new people, and try new things, and you hope that you can make the world a better place in the things you do. You can laugh at yourself and you don't mind losing to me at Trivial Pursuit (and you don't mind beating me either). You are looking for someone you can grow with as either a friend or taking things further. Also wouldn't hurt if you don't think I am hideous and you don't mind a girl who geeks out about things like... Religion, world politics, equality for all people, comic books (I am not partial to either DC or Marvel, I am partial to Batman, Wonder Woman, and the X-Men), and fast cars (drool). And despite the fact I don't feel like I should have to say this, if you can't carry on a conversation with me without having it be sex related, don't bother me. All that tells me is that you aren't really interested in getting to know me, just my vagina, and I really have no time to waste on your crap.
