My Self-Summary
This has definitely been the lacking part of my profile. I can't
get used to the idea that this segment is the "pitch" to try to
"sell" myself to you. So, I won't. I recently moved back to the
Dallas area after going to school at a women's college in the
Boston area. I love traveling around the world, discovering more
about other cultures as well as my own in the process.
I'm always listening to music. I listen across many genres and love listening to music in languages other than English. I'm not a very good dancer, but I have fun going out dancing with my friends, dancing in my room, or taking a dance class (last fall I took a class in African dance). I can play a few songs on the koto (Japanese harp), but other than that, I don't play any instruments. But, I am certainly happy to suggest interesting new music to anyone interested.

What I’m doing with my life
I just graduated from college in Boston and now am "home" in Texas
about to start working at a mortgage company. Many of my friends
have moved away, so I'm definitely looking to expand my social
circle and find out what Dallas has to offer hang-out-wise.
The first things people usually notice about me
I honestly don't know, but I hope it's my smile. I'm really
friendly, and I hope people can realize that readily.

The six things I could never do without
At this moment, I'd like to point out that I have more than six
vital organs. Oh yes. The easy way out. Well, those aside... 1) my
friends and family. I've always had a great support network of
people that care about me, and I have no idea what I would do
without them. 2) Computer with internet. Honestly, what did we do a
decade ago? 3) music and my iPod. If I didn't have music to listen
to, I'd go crazy. It has the power to complement or counteract my
mood. I'll give the other 3 some thought and update later :)
On a typical Friday night I am
Watching Dollhouse with some other people in my dorm or out and
about with my family or friends. On a really good Friday I'm out at
a concert.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I only clean my room when I know I have guests coming over.
