Who Am I?
Greetings, one and all. The name is Mike, please to meet you. I am a full time student at Collin College. I am a studious pursuer of knowledge and wisdom; I like to dabble in a bit of everything to gain more insight and understanding for the world about me. I think it is a very... curious place; a labyrinth of tribulations and trials with treasure awaiting exploration.

I emphasize on the arts and learning. I suppose that qualifies me as a pure nerd of sorts, not that I care especially seeing how we get the money and the power in the end anyhow; however, creativity and expression are also vital to me as a person. To grow and to allow nourishment and cultivation of life, I find value on both logic and creativity, light and dark, and so on. This is why I am the “Prodigy of Paradox” (I misspelled prodigy “protigy” because I could not access that account when I made it).

*Smiles and shrugs.*

Personality:
I'm kind when I want to be but mostly am civil. I know how to have fun and be goofy (I'm a dork by default) but I mainly keep to myself and don't like to be in the center of attention. My mood and attitudes are guided by my environment and the people I interact with. I am not especially talkative. I tend to be the listener in a conversation though I speak when I must. I am not a people person or a social butterfly typically but I can be a pretty good deceiver. I mostly like to just sit back and watch but sometimes life requires me to take the initiative. I generally more of the listener in the conversation than the speaker (although there are a few things I can get passionate about and blither on and on for).

One another thing I should point out to people who may take interest in me since I’ve noticed this about a few people. Those who have visited my profile multiple times, DON’T JUST VISIT MY PROFILE WITHOUT LEAVING A MESSAGE OR SOMETHING! I am pretty nice guy and fairly laid back! I welcome people to talk if they would like. I would like to know why you visited so please, leave a comment or two. Share your thoughts with me. *Smiles.*

So even if I don't necessarily say anything to you, it doesn't mean I am not interested. I just may be curious to know what your next move is.

Socialization:
I don't hold onto irrelevant things as a means to judge a person especially things superficial to a person. The content of the character is far more important to me and the nature of their persona than frivolous issues of skin, sex, gender, religion. There is beauty (or the potential of beauty) in people. Even if I may not find it in a person, it doesn't mean they lack it. I care more about who more so than the what-- at least when it comes to a person's appearance. Still, that is not to say hygiene and personal conduct are not important. ;)

In short, you can dress however you want. Your fashion sense, the colour of your skin, your eyes, your features, or any of that stuff is not the deal maker/breaker in friendship-- unless of course you're someone I want to pursue in a relationship. ;)

Spirituality:
I'm spiritually inclined, religiously free. I call myself a Spiritual Freelancer or a Jovial Mystic. I seek no specific path, just one ultimate destination. I am a man driven by the essence of faith. In my opinion, there is so much beauty beyond the filth that so few take notice of. That is why I keep myself open to beliefs and thoughts and sometimes even adopt them as a part of my personal belief system.

I don't superimpose my spirituality but I will object to any and all who demean my strife as being 'futile' or 'frivolous'. I believe in God but I won't force you to do the same.

I find religion to be interesting and beautiful. I may or may not necessarily agree to the practices and beliefs within it but I see the necessity and merit of its beauty-- for a lack of better words. :)

+ I like to mess with people's minds sometimes. ;P (In good gesture though, nothing severe or caustic.)
+ I'm not perfect and I don't intend to be.
+ I am a heavy thinker.
+ I write, I draw, I sing (horribly but do it anyway), I cook, I take pictures, I dance; I'm artistically savvy.
+ I experiment, I question, I observe, I analyze, I like to learn; I'm scholarly savvy.
+ I experience, I taste, I smell, I feel, I remember, I like to bleed; I'm life savvy.
+ I am stubborn.
+ I can be dark and cold or light and warm.
+ I'm not an ass but I will be if I have to be.
+ I don't make sense sometimes; if you need me to explain something, please feel free to ask.
+ I am not afraid to speak my mind and be open. Still that is not to say I am willing to share everything either.
+ I am paradox.
+ I can be quite humorous albeit the dry tone of this profile. I don't wear humor on my sleeve. Not everyone needs to see it until they can actually interest me to do so.
+ I am not arrogant or cocky. I am assertive. :)
+ I'm a nerd, I love to learn. Languages, history, cultures, science, anything within academia entices me, excites me, draws me, and fuels me.
+ I listen to music, a lot. Nothing conventional though so don't be like "Do you know [insert some famous band that you had to be a hermit in order not to know here]?" And then start freaking out on me.
+ To add to that, I know little about American POP culture (e.g famous people, music, movies, songs, lines, quotes, idiomatic phrases, etc.). I'm socially retarded that way. *Shrugs.*
+ I'm not a boozer. I drink very little and even then very rarely. I seem to have allergic reactions with drinking.
+ I can't swim. :( I want to learn. Anyone want to volunteer to teach me? ;)
+ I work out often.
+ Love animals. I have four birds. :)
+ Love food. Mmm...

>Drama Divas, Queens, and Empresses: To be frank, I like helping out people but I cannot stand people who have a fetish/marked fixation with melodrama. This includes people who yell, throw hissy fits, and start crying for reasons that I cannot fathom. Life is about pain and experiences; make the best of it and move on please.

>Smokers: I… nearly vomited when a smoker kissed me. You guys and girls can do your thing but I do not want to be around one who is negligent to consider the health and well-being of others. I have trouble breathing in the presence of cigarette fumes.

>Hook-ups/One-Night-Stands: Not my thing.

In college, getting my associates of arts. Major in Anthropology and Journalism. Minor in Web Design, programming, and digital graphics.

I am the Vice President of Sigma Kappa Delta (National English Honor Society), Vice President of Phi Theta Kappa (International Honor Society). I am very active within my chapter and in my district. What can I say? I'm pretty ambitious. :P I'm going to be pretty busy this entire year.

Too many things, too little things. I don't know. It sort of just depends I suppose on what it is and the audience who would come and view my achievements. In my opinion I am good at analyzing, thinking, creating, innovating ideas. I am also good at science, English, history (but not with names or dates), and math (to an extent).

I'm a professional student I guess. :P

Who knows really? I think it may be my (fake) intense blue eyes. Then my crazy hair gets to people. Sometimes it's my smile, my lips, my nose or eyebrows.

Other times it's the fact I eat like a starved Somalian child and still weigh only like 125.

I work out pretty constantly too but it's extremely difficult for me to gain weight.

Mmm... Music and food..

Music: I don't have favorite. Just selective favorites depending on my mood/atmosphere/circumstances.

Food: Mostly like food from my origin (Mediterranean), Japanese, Italian, Mexican, and Chinese. I want to try African, Brazilian, and food from other countries someday. I love food. <3

I actually do enjoy being cuddled, touched softly, and held randomly for absolutely no reason.

This also applies to being kissed.

I can become completely intoxicated by someone's scent. (Men: Use cologne. Women: Perfume/Body Spray).
