I am divorced dad, with two daughters. I work in the DC area, and bike to work almost every day. I work in investments, so I am an "odd person"' in DC since everybody here is in politics or policy making. I also have a dog (a german shepherd) who behaves like a golden retriever.

I love what I do (investments)! I am at a good point in my life, where during the week I coach soccer practice for one of my daughters, help with their homework (math), and just take care of them and enjoy them (they stay with me half the time).

Life is hectic, but its fun. When I dont have the kids, I will do movies, concert, drinks, dinner with friends. I am very good friends with my ex wife, so we help each other during the week and weekends (.. Its not easy with kids).

On the weekends, its hanging out with the kids (soccer games, etc). I also bike, do movies, social get togethers, etc.

I am good at my job (I think). I have been working on a new business venture, and that has been my passion these last few years.

I enjoy a good conversation about the world, soccer, college basketball, movies, ... anything!! I might be politically incorrect (... obvious since I am Latin American).

I like to dance (... I think I am decent at it) ... have become a decent biker ... can cook some decent food (... and can open a bottle of wine with efficiency)

My accent. I am Colombian, but probably dont look like one (... by the way ... not sure what a Colombian looks like)

I do read quite a bit. I generally ready mystery novels with some historical background. I also read books about economics / finance.

For music .. I dont have a specific style. Do tend to have Euro pop (electronic music), 80's, salsa, merengue, vallenato in my Droid.

I love a good steak, burgers, pizza (Vace, Paradiso, Two Amies, Pet's Pizza), vietnamese, indian, mexican (not crappy tex-mex), italian, sushi. Basically anything.

I am a big movie buff. I can do mystery, action, comedy, horror, science fiction, foreign .. not that much into romantic movies.

Its either a plan with my kids (dinner, movie), or some plans with friends. I divide my friends into 2 groups. My neighborhood friends (who I do kids stuff with: dinner / movies, some trips), and my office friends (where I tend to do more single guy things ... like trying new dives, having some beers, watching a movie / concert). Some times they cross each other.

I have 11 fingers !!! ... I am joking!!

you are in a similar situation to me. If you are also a parent (female) having to deal with kids and work, then you will understand my life. You are a (hopefully) person who is interested in meeting somebody who is fun, intelligent, urban / athletic ( but not crazy athletic) and will want to go out to get to know each other and have fun .. and hopefully there is a good connection for something more serious.

Since I have kids, the other person needs to be aware that my plans and availability could change quite easily.
