My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm attending art school in Chicago, studying experimental animation and illustration. Right now, the goal is to someday create psychedelic animated music videos for bands, but I think I'd have so much trouble staying in one specific field. I also want to take up screen-printing, draw concept art for indie videogames, make storyboards for animated shows/films, illustrate children's books and alternative comics, create my own puppets, paint on canvas... I don't know what I'm doing, ever
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
overthinking social media
shifting rapidly between intense cynicism and utter sincerity
regurgitating cultural cliches
developing bindi zits
drawing puking aliens covered in vaginas
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
disgusting ginger/dumb civil war sideburns/ugly sweaters
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: The Policeman's Beard is Half Constructed. Basically anything by Kurt Vonnegut, Toni Morrison, Terry Pratchett, Douglass Coupland, or Jorge Luis Borges. I'm also a bit of a geek for "fantasy rodent" shit like The Redwall Series and The Deptford Mice Trilogy. Blame it on my childhood. I really love offbeat comics too, like Unlovable, Ghost World, Black Hole, and everything by Edward Gorey and Junji Ito.

Movies: The Dark Crystal, Pan's Labyrinth, TekkonKinkreet, Jan Svankmajer's Alice, The Fall, Welcome to the Dollhouse, Wet Hot American Summer, The Iron Giant, Suspiria, Hausu, Spirited Away, The Color of Pomegranates, Fantastic Planet, Alien, Fantasia, and billions more. I also really love watching movies of the shit variety, like The Room, Troll 2, Showgirls, other shit

Shows: Carnivale, 30 Rock, Planet Earth, Stella, Arrested Development, Firefly, Food Party, Avatar: The Last Airbender, FLCL, Look Around You, Mission Hill, Flapjack, Adventure Time, Twin Peaks, Superjail--TV is not an inherent wasteland, you're just a dumb.

Music: (basically anything with bouncy synths or deconstructed chipmunk voices or whirring atmospheric guitars or Swedish people involved)
The six things I could never do without

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

robot anime girls developing feelings

The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I have, of my own free will, watched every single episode of Degrassi: The Next Generation in existence.
