I love video games. They have had a huge impact on my life, and are a big part of it at the moment. I'm a bit of a nerd, which isn't a bad thing in my opinion. I don't talk about nerdy things unless asked. Just know if I am thrust into a situation where nerding out is acceptable, I will.
I like an intellectual man. You need to be able to hold a conversation. I have a story about a guy who couldn't figure out how to play Katamari Damacy, and all you do to play is move two joysticks in tandem. that said something about how intelligent he was. I want someone who can give me a challenge, whatever that may be. I'm no rocket scientist. But I can grasp new ideas or strange theories that are written down, or spoken, in terms I can understand. Which shouldn't too difficult for someone who has knowledge of such concepts.
A big plus for me are beards, piercings, tattoos, that kind of thing. I don't have any tats or piercings, but I did have a labret. I'm into skinny, average, and guys who are stocky. Let's be clear, i'm saying stocky like a guy who plays football or is just built a little bigger. Not attracted to "hefty" guys. Nothing against them, I just don't have an attraction to that. I mostly date white guys, just my track record. Not opposed to dating anyone of any ethnic or racial background.
I don't go to the bars much, if ever, but I am willing to go with the right guy. Also, I'm not into sports. If the guy I'm dating wants to take me to some sports event or an event he will be participating in, I'm okay with that. I'll even try to play. Just don't expect me to play well or know any o the rules. I get the puck into the endzone for a strike, right?
I do enjoy the outdoors, though. I really do like to take long walks. Usually it is just down the road near my apartment, but I'll walk for at least an hour. If you want to go walking with me, or if you work out and want someone who has never worked out and wants to get fit, let me know! Love camping, but can't remember the last time I actually had the chance to go! Marshmallows and ghost stories and hiking...It sounds lovely!
I smoke, and am completely fine with forgoing it when around others who do not smoke. But if you do, that ain't a problem with me. I don't do harder drugs (coke, heroin, PCP, Acid ...tried X, didn't like it). Weed isn't a drug, nor would I consider a shrooms, since both are simply a plant/fungus and neither are deadly. Yes, cigarettes aren't good for you, but hey, no one is 100% healthy in every single aspect. I do my best, but we all have room to grow.
Music is a big part of my everyday life. In descending order of frequency of the correlation between the two events I have music on when I'm: on walks, at work, or when the mood strikes me. I like a variety of music, from hip-hop, to opera, to 30's music from the great crooners and Americana bands. Don't really dislike any kind of music really. And I'm not super obsessed about any kind of music. You do, however, get many extra points if you love Eisley. They are the best band to walk the planet.
Painting is one of my big hobbies. I mostly do paintings of plants. Always thought about branching out, but nothing has caught my attention yet (get it?). Even though I have a special affinity for plants, that does not mean I dislike animals. I do, in fact, own a cat. She is an adorable cream and tan cat named Aura. She isn't very affectionate, but she isn't mean either. She's eternally my little Princess (which is what you would call a girl kitten, Aura would technically be a "Queen").
Politics and religion are touchy subjects for people. But I don't mind talking about it. I believe in things I feel are good for the whole. That means every living thing on the planet. I do not litter, or throw cigarette butts on the ground. I'll carry that in my pocket until I locate the proper place to discard it.
Science mystifies me. Is gravity real? Is our universe birth from material in another universe? Can we harness teleportation? Time travel? I can't really say that I would think backward time travel is possible for humans to achieve. Wouldn't we have at least found *someone* from the future by now? To the future is a completely different story, although that could be achieved through cryogenics in a way.
As for life on other planets...Well that's pretty simple. It would be arrogant for us to assume we are on the only planet with life on it, or that we are the only intelligent and sentient species. I wouldn't think it'll be anything like Star Trek or Star Wars, I just can't think the Universe is populated by a humans with just different ears or that most life would look anything like life on Earth. There are planets made out of nothing but DIAMONDS, scientists have found one. Just imagine how crazy life could be out there! Amethyst airborne jellyfish that feed on sunlight, or telepathic shadows.
My family is a good thing in my life, thankfully. It wasn't always like this. But slowly our relationship has become tolerable. They even have asked about the boyfriend I was dating, which was a surprise. At first, they were in no way accepting of my sexuality on the whole. With the exception of a few family members, I was not well liked. I was blessed to have those that were behind me, and doubly blessed the others all came around.
I do not understand things like stealing and murder. I can't really get why humans would want to hurt one another, much less another living thing. I'm the kind of guy that will pick up those earthworms that go to pavement during sprinkler sessions, and find them a nice dry area to put them in. It may not mean anything to me, but it means everything to that worm. Stealing is really something that stupefies me. If you wan something I own *that* bad, just ask. Chances are I'll be flattered enough that you like something I bought that much I'll just give it to you. Compassion breeds compassion.
If you have anything else you would like to know, send me a message. Tell me a bit about yourself. Be creative. I am quite a friendly person. Have a great day!
