My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'd like to say that I'm a recovering geek, but the truth is that I fell off the wagon awhile ago. I love all things fantasy and sci fi. I suppose you could say that I'm a functioning geek as I try to balance my life with other interests: running and photography come to mind.

Photography is something that I really enjoy. For me, it's a nice mix of being creative and technical. I'm very much an amateur, but I really enjoy taking pictures.

I moved here to DC after a short stint in the midwest. Prior to that I lived in New York - the Bronx, to be specific. I'm really glad that I was able to live in New York while I did, but DC is more my style. I'd like to be able to see more of the area, there is a lot that I haven't seen.

Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in the IT field and now work for the federal government. After years of being a contractor I can now say with all honesty that I'm very happy being a bureaucrat.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Teaching people. I'm very patient, and I'm good at explaining things to people in a way that they can understand.
