I'm living in Cologne for about a decade, and working here as a programmer.

Who I am? I guess a typical geek. I like computers, gaming, board- card and computer games. I like trashy movies and good books. I read, a lot. If I don't end the day lying in my bed while reading something, it doesn't quite feel right.

I'm pretty open minded too. I think everyone should do whatever he/she wants to as long as it doesn't involve hurting others.

I love spending time with friends, the same as I enjoy having time for myself after a stressful day.

I'm on okcupid since quite a while, and met quite a number of people I got to know here. All people I met were wonderful people. Sometimes we just had a friendly chat and went our ways. Sometimes we spent hours in voicechat, exchanged thousands of mails and crossed thousands of miles and became very close friends. *shrugs*

On the one hand I'm somewhat sportive, biking daily to/from work and beeing at the gym every now and then. On the other hand, my love for chocolate, my work as programmer and my screwed up thyroid gland fight the opposite way.

The usual. Working, gaming, spending time with friends, travelling, nothing extraordinary.

Programming, gaming, sex, discussing interesting stuff and fun to have around.

I asked some of my closer friends about it. Their first replies were "your humor", "your fine humor" and "your humor is worldclass". When I poked them further, other replies were "that you are very kind" and "your long hair". When I poked them further they said "stop poking me!" and ran away.

Dead Man, Monty Python (nearly all stuff by them), Dark Star, Amelie, Futurama, Beeing John Malkovich, Hero, Tamala 2010, Ghost in the Shell, Man bites Dog, Pan's Labyrinth, The Fountain, Tetsuo: The Iron Man, The Navigator: A Medieval Odyssey, Coraline and some others...

TV Series:
Monkey Dust, Futurama, Ren & Stimpy. Oh, and good old X-Files. :) Dr. House ain't bad either, though I currently watch TV very rarely. Normally when I do watch TV, then it's a documentary of some sort. Or a movie with friends.

Music:
I'm pretty open minded in matters of music. What I love nearly always though is Dark Wave and medieval stuff or folk rock. But depending on my mood also dub, psybient, ska, as well as certain sorts of punk, metal, rock, and even a few pop songs or oldies. Some bands:

Food:
tea, chocolate, uuhm.... hm.... chocolate? hmm... and tea... fish is good too, and about all foods if cooked yourself/with friends

Tea, chocolate, books, computer, a cat, hugs, long baths with a good book. Though, I could live without a computer, and a cat I guess. But they surely make life more pleasant.

Uhm... dreams, programming, board games, sex. How fleeting the current moment is. And what for a plant that is that grows over there.

There ain't really a typical friday. Random things that might happen:
- pc gaming alone or with friends
- playing board or card games with friends
- working
- cooking alone or with friends
- watching a documentary, while most often working or gaming at the same time
- programming
- going early to bed to enjoy a very long sleep without missing half of the saturday
- reading
- every once in a while also a visit at a gothic club

I have the habit of looking up trivial stuff constantly on Wikipedia, to see if I can learn something more about it. Is that private? Hmmm, no not really. I'll think about this later.

In general I'm always interested in conversation and discussions about anything (as long as you can do so without shouting at me). So, everyone is welcome to message me.

But the perfect person I'm looking for would be something like this:
- geeky/nerdy
- into board or card games or gaming in general
- likes cats
- you should be curious or willing to learn new stuff in general
- open minded

Yeah... Something like that would be nice. Oh, and I don't care about where you come from. If you are from a foreign country: fine too, if we get along well enough, maybe visit each other some time? I like visiting friends in foreign countries a lot. For the perfect love, I'd probably move too, or try to make her move to my place, which is quite awesome as well. :) The same as I don't care about where you are from, I don't care about your skin color or other superficial stuff.
