I'm easygoing, but intensely passionate. I own my own business; a landscaping company catering to upscale properties. Creating something of lasting beauty is a satisfaction like no other I know.
I'm also a musician (guitarist/singer/songwriter, living in Grant Park in my 110 year old house with my dog Smokeybear. I'm not particularly religious, but I sing in my church choir because I love singing great music - and I don't mean "Rock of Ages" or "Little Church in the Wildwood." I mean Thompson, Rutter, Poulanc, Gounod, Brahms, Mozart, etc. I'm open to most kinds of entertainment, 'cause I'm an entertainer myself. I like sports, movies, dining, theater, symphony, even opera in small doses.
I have an adventurous palate. I'll eat pretty much anything that doesn't eat me first. But, hot spice is not for me. I don't like eating stuff that hurts.

I like to play - just play.

I'm divorced for almost two years from a 23 year marriage, and
a year past losing my subsequent sweetheart to pneumonia. I'm really looking for someone with whom I can find "wonderful beyond dreams." I KNOW it's out there. I've known it in the not too distant past. I love to laugh; only one thing feels better, and I love that, too. I'm a hopeless romantic, but I know what I want and I won't settle for less.

Favorite books: Destiny, Fall of Giants, anything by Dean Koontz or Janet Evanovitch..
Movies: Gone With the Wind, To Kill a Mockingbird.
Show: Downton Abbey rocks; NCIS. Other than that, there's really not much in the vast wasteland except PBS; even A&E has gone "reality." Sad. So I recently got rid of my cable and got a Roku and a digital antenna. Better stuff; better price. HA.
Music: Anything from Beatles to Beethoven; old jazz standards, soft rock, some country and bluegrass, Broadway, Sinatra, Bennett; almost anything. BUT, hiphop is for musical juveniles, and as for rap - well, I've heard better stuff in Tarzan movies

Piano, guitar, dog, God, family, friends; not necessarily in that order.
