My self-summary
I live in Oakland and think it's an awesome city. I stay active and enjoy life. This city has plenty of avenues for both. Staying active for me involves martial arts interspersed with crossfit.

I enjoy hiking and camping. I've been all over the state pursuing these activities. I've traveled and tasted the world from Peru to Tibet. I want more.

I love making music and have done it most of my life. I dabbled in the recording industry but prefer to be the musician. The band I'm in now is my favorite creative outlet to date.

I like connecting with new people. I've met some cool individuals through this site. If you find me first say hi.

Finding something long term is my highest ambition on this site. I would like to delete this profile at some point. Short term is probably more realistic. That's cool. Let's see what happens.

Oh yeah, and Homeland, surfing, passport, tattoos, puppies, yoga and the ocean.

I'm surprised the Oxford comma wasn't mentioned...or used in my hideous sentence.

I promise no shirtless selfies in the bathroom, no poly related requests, no boilerplates and no "Hi, how are you?" messages.

Still no love for that comma.

And yes, I figured that whole your/you're thing out a long time ago.

Just having some fun with the most common message stipulations women list on here. The first message sex you up* is not in my repertoire. I won't pull a Brett Favre either. These are classy moves but I think I'll manage to refrain.

* Go ahead, look up that Color Me Badd video on Youtube you haven't seen in 20 years. You can thank me later.
What I’m doing with my life
Working for a government agency with an environmental mission. I've been there about 13 years now and still enjoy it. I'm in the gym regularly training boxing and Muay Thai. And I rock out singing in a metal band.

Also, in my best Keanu Reeves voice, I know Kung Fu. But seriously I do.
I’m really good at
Rocking out. Fighting.

Love sushi too.

I always eat a healthy breakfast.
