My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Short summary of myself in four words and in no particular order : loyal, confident, honest, open-minded.

Welcome. My name is alfredo and depending on whether you read this before or after January 25, 2015 will determine whether I will be 25 or am already 25. It'll be my golden birthday or so I'm told and I'm really looking forward to the year ahead. My friends and family mean the world to me. I enjoy making friends and getting to know people. Coming from as big of a family as I do, you learn to appreciate the company of others. Born in the Philippines but migrated to the U.S when I was 4 and have lived in chicago ever since. I attended DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana which further enhanced my perspectives on the idea and importance of community.

Despite being in chicago for twenty+ years I do believe that there are a lot more locations to see and activities to do no matter the season. Not only am I looking for an eventual relationship, I am looking for people to go on adventures with exploring a part of a neighborhood neither of us have been to or maybe go to a play or concert. I have noticed that chicago is a hub for various types of music and music related events and it would be a crime not to take advantage.

If any of this sounds interesting or you would like to get to know more by all means, please send a message.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
While I have worked and am still working at chipotle I am currently doing preliminary research into what it would take to become a surgical nursing assistant with plans to start as early as fall of 2015.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'd like to believe I'm good at reading people which helps me socialize. This tends to make it look like I'm more quiet than I am but I'm just taking everything in. I'm highly optimistic. Kind of like a magnet, I draw out the best from those around me.

I'm also good at failing to be funny which tends to be funny. Think about that.

Depending on whether I've shaved or not, probably my facial hair. Or how I drink pinky up. Or my manners. Or my eyes. I've gotten compliments on those.

Television.
I rarely watch shows but the few I do (online) include. Once Upon a Time, Doctor Who, the Simpsons, Futurama, Adventure Time, Marvel's Agents of SHIELD.

Music.
I use to have a list but it changes so often I'll say it depends on the mood. I'll listen to almost anything with the exception of heavy metal.

The following are movies I could watch over and over: Clue, Kill Bill (1&2), The Devil Wears Prada, Tron, Singing in the Rain, 500 Days of Summer, The Avengers

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
the inevitability of death and if I am capitalizing on every moment .

But on a lighter note, I think about how I can help improve myself so I can be better suited to help those I care about.

I'll most likely be reading or writing.
More inclined to be at home hosting a game night if not exploring the city.
I'm not opposed to going out with friends though not particularly a fan of bars.

I was so excited for my first day of kindergarten but was sick. So, my parents decided to give me some liquid cold medicine but the combination of nerves and cold were too much and while waiting in line to head inside I threw up on the back of the person in front of me. I didn't get to go. I was embarrassed. But we became friends.
