My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm looking for you - and only you - if you are that unique, heartful, kickass, spontaneous, evolved, beauty who lives to experience life in all it's wonder and delight.

And I offer, in return a playful, powerful, gentle, global, exploratory adventure...

I am a writer and an internet entrepreneur who lives in Manila half the time.

You and I are here on this site for great connection, cleansing laughter and for adventures.

Me? I'm creatively and entrepreneurially active in all forms of media -- old and emerging, and work with some of the most open-hearted, funniest and most visionary people on the planet. It's an inspiring, energizing life, being a part of such a warm, daring, international, hi-vibing tribe.

We are perfect for each other the more creative and mobile you are because as a writer and CEO, I am 100% mobile. I can live anywhere, anytime, and we can vanish to a tropic island or foreign adventure of our choice.

This next part is very important...

Huge turn ons: wild coasts, warm ocean water, big group friend dinners, original thinkers, , honest sensualists, people with genuinely good hearts and, more than anything... sudden, unbidden, generous and natural expressions of love.

Ivy, eclectically and globally educated, deeply considerate -- spontaneous and ribald, thoughtful and intuitive, spiritually adventurous, with a cultivated NYC/Europe side and a fearless wilderness explorations side.

I am turned on by your intelligence and wit We will spark if you be eclectic, happy, wildly curious, provocatively sensual, hypnotically feminine when you wish to be, fun and bold, whip-smart, but with no other interest in whips.

Photos are this year. If you want to read as close to an anthem for my life and for how I live, we please see "When Death Comes" by Mary Oliver.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Traveling. Writing. Teaching. Adventuring. Entrepreneuring. Snowboarding. Kite-pummeling. Building online communities. The companies I own teach men and women confidence and depth, inspire all to live life more fully -- with self-responsibility, self-direction, and an embrace of genuine love and passion - (while providing the practices and resources to actually do it).

Ever since I was small, I have considered every day a ludicrous and unearned gift and drink deeply of the beauty available in this world -- especially when it involves beaches, cobblers, human grace and dignity, or sangiovese grapes. I shaved 3 years off my profile bc of search reasons and photos are current. My 2 sons are encolleged, happy, creative, solid and thriving and out in the world (yes, I DID start early.)

And, oh, I'm just a comfortable in either a tux or shorts and sandals -- but in a little black dress, not so much.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
seeing through the veils to the good in everyone... (its easier with dogs, though).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Ready laughter in my eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books... Rumi, Deida, Tom Robbins, Roth, Joseph Campbell, Kundera, Anand, Rushdie, Twain, Hafez, Calvino, Beckett, Shakes... Shakes... what's his name?, Rilke, Ginsburg, Gary Snyder, Vonnegut, Blake, Chabon, Sedaris, Henry Miller but even moreso Anais Nin, Mary Oliver, Hitchens, Amis, Conrad and Shaw.

Movies... The Unforgiven, Raising Arizona, MP and the Holy Grail, Love Actually, Fight Club, Hannah and Her Sisters, Manhattan, Team America, Gladiator, Cinema Paradiso, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Slumdog, Team America, Manhattan, Love and Death, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and City of Woman, by Fellini. It's no Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Truly Scrumptious-less) but inspiring nonetheless.

Music - Billie, Ella, Tool, Chopin, Muse, Chopin, Metallica, Chopin, Opeth, Sinatra, Eva Cassidy, Gainsbourg, Leonard Cohen, Ellington, Cheese, Chopin, Jessca Hoop, Vedder, Diana Krall, Rickie, Ravi, Jai Uttal.... I love genius in music. Oh. And Chopin.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Wilderness. Chopin. Independent thinkers. Poetry that jolts. Organic veggies. Steve Jobs. Very, very, very slow and sustained kissing (though not with Steve Jobs). The Joe Rogan Experience, The Dan Savage Lovecast. The road of excess.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to not die. Ever.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like chick flicks (Sleepless in Seattle, not Sex and the City) as much as war flicks (Patton, Ryan). But I am a writer who digs character nuance, so I am forgiven. If you thought Wall St. 2 was well scripted or voted for Bush/Romney/Satan, we probably won't have babies. Although Bush was well scripted.

You are smart, funny, adventurous, on a conscious path of awakening, have real spiritual and or intellectual depth, love to learn and experience this life in all its richness, love, flavors, aromas, tannins, chords, beats melodies and brands of artisanal chocolate. Yeah, especially chocolates.
