Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Creative teacher who wants to see changes in my lifetime like peace
and a safe world for children and those who can't speak for
themselves. My goal that I work on everyday is to bring that sense
of peace and healing to everyone. Through my volunteer work, I have
met and counseled friends, mothers and others for 20 years. Don't
you love the cartoon of Snoopy dancing because he is so happy to be
alive? Dogs and other animals listen and give wise counsel. They
meet the world with a willingness to give of themselves with you
and heal and teach you to play.
I also love to skate...or at least look like I am skating through
life with ease and graceful moves. One of the great things about
meeting new people is great conversation while moving as we are
walking, hiking, rollerblading or skating. In life, I am endlessly
exploring the mountain of creativity that lies within me. Plus I am
very curious. Things just get curious-er and curious-er....
Moving this fall into my prayers for the future, working with
children through art and bringing my heart to share through our
hands and work. This year has been amazing and dreams can come
true. I love helping people and doing what brings creativity and
hope to others.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Sewing the threads and stuff I collect together into a fabulous
quilt of possibilities 'cause the last few years have been all
about the karmic threads of leaving the nest I feathered so well. I
help my little fledglings grow and change and fly. Letting things
go and creating new opportunities that benefit myself and others in
my new realms.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making the best of every situation, laughing at myself, learning
and teaching many things....I like to explore all of this life's
possibilities inside and outside of the box. Education, social
skills, reading and feeding others through beautiful art is my
thing! I have incredible passion for the fresh seasonal stuff of
life. I love the texture of chocolate and the freshness of ripe
strawberries dipped in it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hat or my dog...Or running around after them and being accused
of having too much energy. I like to buzz in the summer with
activity like my friends the bees in the blossoms. Apparently blond
hair is a big thrill, must be all that good PR from Hollywood. Most
people I know who are naturally blond are pretty smart and in
Ayurvedic medicine the Pitta temperament is the same as a Redhead.
I gave birth to one but I am not hot headed or impressed with hair.
It's such a superficial thing. I do not take it for granted and
donate it to the locks of love program every three years. But I
also know it is a pretty nice thing to be treated well because
someone thinks I am someone else in restaurants or airports. I have
always worked/volunteered with people with exceptional needs. So
being always thankful for my abilities to be ambulatory and have a
fully functioning brain along with the realness of soul and beauty
inside that I appreciate in everyone, I look for beauty of soul on
the inside. That is most important to me. It should be for all. But
this isn't the case always.

I like whatever makes it into my world as long as it goes with the
flow of my zen experience, hoping for many real experiences rather
than amplified noise. I sing every week with a lovely group of
people in Sebastopol. I would rather read than watch movies or TV
and prefer activities that are alive. I am an introvert on many
levels. Being in balance means connecting with and spending time
with people I love and trust.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Food, water, shelter, warmth....that sort of thing is kind of
essential... Now I am grateful for the simple pleasures in life
like connecting with random babies on a telepathic hello, a child's
laughter, raspberries picked at the height of the season and lovely
blossoms springing forth to bloom.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
too many things so that I have to get out of my head and just play
with the energy of it all. No more analyzer...intuition is better!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Greeting my dogs'musical serenades as I enter their realm again,
cooking something up and doing whatever suits my fancy or fantasy
food desire as the case may be. I also attend cultural events like
First Friday or the latest greatest friends walk. I used to
volunteer every Friday reading people for fun at BPI of Santa Rosa
when I was a student. But that was about four years ago.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Hmm....ask me in person. I got in trouble the last time I gave away
