My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a single dad (13 years old). I own my own business. I love animals, love to play games (no, I'm not a player) and to read, and I am a self-taught guitar player of no great renown. I like to hike, but am dealing with foot pain, lately, so no dice, at least for now.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have recently been enjoying a greater sense of freedom from parenting, what with my daughter reaching her teens and benefiting from an emotional growth spurt. So, I guess it's time to spend a little more time on my own needs.

I've been jamming with a friend, teaching myself piano, and have joined a book club. I enjoy reading, and also playing table top and card games. (I like computer games, but not so much the shootem-ups.)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm told that that would be my smile. My daughter, however, says that it's my weirdness.

TV Shows:
Daily Show & Colbert!
Key & Peele
The Wire (back when), and now Treme

Movies:
Memento blew my mind, Brazil is a fave, Coen Brothers movies are all good. Recent movies? None that call out to me, but Loopers is sounding good.

Books:
Just finished People's History of the USA, it was excellent
The Great Influenza was fascinating, as was To End All Wars
The Inside of a Dog
