My self-summary Propose an edit

Stoner vegetarian Atheist who watches a lot of movies, loves video games, live comedy, good music (which seems to be a bit harder to find these days), comic books, and lol cats. They will never stop being funny, and i have no idea why.

I don't go out nearly as much as i used to, but that doesn't mean i don't enjoy it. I just prefer being a homebody to the social scene these days. Still love going to bars and shows, frequent the UCB Comedy Theater as often as i can, and of course, there is a lot to be said about the classic dinner and a movie.

Something that has always interested me more than anything is simple conversation. Nothing's more exciting to me than just talking to someone for hours on end, about anything either of us are passionate about. Get me going on a subject that i love and you'll see why one of my nicknames is "Fun Facts". Another one's "Fancy Pants", but that's a different story entirely.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

Currently working what some would consider a dream job, and i guess it kinda is, or it could be. I'm the creator/writer/producer/director/editor of a webshow for G4's website. Gives me an opportunity to work on a subject that i love, video games, while working on my writing skills for something more ambitious in the future.

I'm really good at Propose an edit

reading people, cooking, making people feel welcome, some video games, intellectual discourse.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

As of October 6th:

Music - Really varies, nonstop NPR in the car (except Prairie Home Companion), 60s psych and soul, 70s rock and funk, early 90s and some modern indie rock, afrobeat, country rock, underground intelligent hip hop...right now: Parson Red Heads, the Grateful Dead (only their first record), Old Crow Medicine Show, Pixies, Tinarawin, Dethklok, The Kinks, CCR, Pavement

Books - Reading "The Audacity of Hope" by the next president, Barrack Obama, which will be followed by "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins. Surrounded by The Sword, Kick Ass, The Boys, and other assorted comic books.

Movies - Tons. Pineapple Express was not quite as good as i was expecting, but still hilarious. Just saw Religulous which was even better than i had expected. Just got Iron Man on bluray, that movie is consistently impressive. Also just rented Speed Racer and it was surprisingly enjoyable in a popcorn, cartoon kinda way.

Food - All yummy things that aren't animals. Although i started eating fish again and i'm kind of enjoying it. a lot. I love trying new food and challenging myself to try to cook something new or make a vegetarian version of something. If i wasn't working in tv/film i'd probably be a chef.

Home on the couch with Nutella_Fingers watching movies, waiting in line at the UCB Comedy Theater or the Arclight, or out with friends at a bar that isn't so loud you have to scream to hold a conversation.
