My self-summary
I'm a hardworking guy who loves to laugh. I'm very optimistic and pretty much always in a good mood. As for the rest of my self-summary, don't the other 10 essays count? Well I think they do!
What I’m doing with my life
I live a dream owning a video game company with my brother. It's the best job ever. So far we've made games for Wii, PC, iPhone, and iPad. Apple named out last project "iPhone Game of the Week" which was pretty cool.

I graduated from the U of A in 2009 where I studied Computer Science, Philosophy, and Communications. I bought a house in Tucson last year, so I'll be sticking around for the time being.
I’m really good at
-Programming (I better be)
-Philosophical discussion
-General optimism
-Running: I just started doing half-marathon distances.
-Japanese: Okay, I'm not actually good yet, but I will be once I finish a few more Rosetta Stone lessons! I'd been learning it for a recent trip to Japan.
-More stuff: I can't give it all away online, then how would I impress you later?
The first things people usually notice about me
My sense of humor. If we meet and we're not laughing within 10 seconds, well... that never happens!*

*Guarantee only valid in person. On the Internet, I'm not funny. I'm solemn, serious, and don't amuse anyone, including myself.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I have pretty broad tastes in terms of movies, TV, and music. To mix things up for you, here's a random selection of what I like from all 3 lists, in no particular order: The Office, Lost, System of a Down, Fight Club, Arrested Development, Less Than Jake, Big Fish, Dexter, Lord of the Rings, Foo Fighters, Star Trek TNG, everything Miyazaki, Seinfeld, School of Rock, Matchbox 20, Family Guy, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Cold Case Files, The Ring, Audioslave... well of course the lists go on and on. I'm sure we have at least a few favorites in common. I love food in general, pretty much all of it, but read on for my favorites.
The six things I could never do without
1. Family/Friends ('nuff said)
2. Computer, by career.
3. iPhone with GPS. We've all been lost in a complicated neighborhood at night in the middle of a snowstorm, haven't we?
4. TV, there are so many good shows these days.
5. Food: Italian, Mexican, and Japanese top the list but I also love Chinese, Indian, American, Thai, breakfast foods, and much more.
6. Laughing constantly
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The universe, the meaning of life, consciousness, the meaning of justice, morality, the state of our education system, higher powers and world religions.
On a typical Friday night I am
At a movie or cooking something at home. On cooking, baking and breakfast foods are my specialties, but I'm slowly trying to learn it all. Lately I've been doing more running, often at night when the day is too warm. I play a couple instruments (electric guitar, clarinet) but most recently I've been learning the ukelele. On a good Friday I might be on a night hike with a buddy, at a movie or concert, or savoring something at a delicious restaurant. I may paint a little on a quiet Friday, or listen to an audiobook.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have some pet peeves when it comes to internet profiles.

For example, I secretly make fun of people who put things like oxygen, water, shelter, etc. in their list of 6 things they could never do without. This isn't a biology test, I know you can't physically live without water, but that's not the point!

Also, for the "most private thing I'm willing to admit" section, I amusedly shake my when people say "Well if I admitted it then it wouldn't be private"... I am aware!
I’m looking for
  • Straight girls only
  • Ages 22–28
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
Just go ahead and message me if you're interested, I always reply. But I'll be the most excited...

-If you're sweet, intelligent, and positive
-If you've got a bit of a nerdy side, or at least appreciate those who do
-If you aren't thaaaat into loud, crowded bars
-If you're pro humor and anti-arrogance
-If you took school seriously (or still do if you're in school) because you value education

I know it's a tall order, I just wanted to let you know which things earn the most brownie points.
