My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a transplant from the south-east coast who moved to Chicago during college. I am looking for a partner in crime with a sense of adventure, a sense of humor, who can be empathetic and kind while not being very PC. I appreciate talkers and chatty kathys (cathys?) as long as you can be a good listener, too. I am looking for someone to go out with AND come home to.

A little about me, my interests include:
I like spending time by the Lake or other Chicago Parks (when it's not cold), karaoke, movieokie, trying new places and cuisines to eat, going to see: improv/standup comedy, poetry slams, MeetUps with people with similar interests. I have tried many activities a few times but won't just list them all here to falsely impress, but I am up for trying or repeating many experiences with someone new.

One of my biggest passions is for cleverness expressed thru art AND everyday things. And there's no substitute for experiences!

Why don’t we get together for a coffee or drinks—something low-key and see how things go from there.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently freelancing as a graphic artist, I'm also exploring options in social media marketing, and podcasting.

Spending time exploring new interests, taking classes, exercising, soaking up the unique events Chicago has to offer (local music, galleries Improv and stand-up).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Words, phrases AND clauses! Listening........

Hmmmm? Oh, just making sure you got a chance to say something! I'm a decent cook, trying to get better. Public speaking, singing / karaoke, improv (all I can do, even sober).

Showing affection appropriate and otherwise ; )

Finding the FUN in most situations

Being decisive and coming up with plans of action (the exception is ordering off a menu... a story for another time)!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'll tell you when I get my feedback cards back!

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) My dogs ( 2, a pug and a shihtzu )

2) Friends/Family

3) Great & diverse food (yep, a foodie, but I try to work off
the damage!)

4) Exercise

5) Creative Outlet

6) Passion/Affection
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
• What's going on in Chicago in the next month.

• What my dogs are thinking.

• The last 3 things I said or did that made someone laugh hoping
at least 1 of the 3 was on purpose....

• Lifehacker.com, GTD and other ways to make the mundane parts of living my life easier or less time consuming.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Sometimes out with friends for dinner and...whatever. If exhausted from work, classes or Thursday night karaoke you'll find me chilling at home with a book, watching recorded tv or podcasts.

Ok, that isn't very specific, but I'm reinventing my life so I'm doing a bit of everything!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Hmmm, I'm willing to admit there ARE private things I COULD admit to and that's it till we meet.
