My self-summary
I love ska and punk music. I'm quiet, sarcastic, and witty (well, I crack myself up and really, isn't that all that matters?). I can carry on entire conversations using nothing but Simpsons and Friends references. I love to travel. A lot. I think nothing of waking up, saying "eh, I feel like heading to New Jersey today!" and jumping into the car. Usually, these trips end with seeing a band although I also love taking vacations and just exploring. I lived outside of Vegas for 3 years and have been back a couple times to visit since moving out. I have great friends there and Vegas is so alive with excitement! Plus, it's a photographer's dream!!!
What I’m doing with my life
"I don't want to live like a dead man" - Have Nots

I am spending my life living each day like it is the last day on earth.
I’m really good at
Being myself.
The first things people usually notice about me
Checkerboard, polka dots, and plaid. My outfits usually incorporate some (or all) of those patterns.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I am very passionate about music! My absolute favorite band is Big D and the Kids Table. I travel a lot to see them and have seen them in 16 states so far. Other bands I like include Less Than Jake, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Goldfinger, Survay Says!, Short Handed Goal, Threat Level Burgundy, Poor Jeremy, New Found Glory, Weezer, NoFX, Westbound Train, Spring Heeled Jack, Pietasters, Reel Big Fish, the Toasters, etc. I listen to a lot of local/ska punk - New England has an amazing scene!

Kevin Smith is my favorite director and Clerks is my favorite movie. Other movies include: Star Wars (original trilogy and Ep III - I don't care what anyone says, Episode III was awesome), Wizard of Oz, Fanboys, Harry Potter, Captain America, etc.

I love to read and focus mostly on nonfiction/biographies/etc. Young adult books are cool, too. Check out the Redwall books or the Warriors series! I also like comics.

I watch a lot of television. I mourn several shows (24 and if you ever want to see someone squee, you should have seen me flip out when they announced that 24 is coming back!), Chuck, Friends, etc. Some on air shows I never miss are the Simpsons, Family Guy, Walking Dead, Once Upon A Time, Last Man Standing, the Wednesday night comedies, New Girl, etc. I love that the sitcom is making a comeback. Sunday night is the best night for television. I have friends who plan their Sundays around football - I plan mine around the Walking Dead.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
See the six things I could never do without. I also spend a lot of time daydreaming about places to visit. Out of state friends to see. Etc.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually seeing a band. If there is nothing happening music-wise, I may be at a movie or spending a quiet night at home. I have sweatpants and Netflix. This makes for a happy Danielle.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I want to learn trumpet and play in a ska band. I actually found a trumpet for cheap at a consignment shop but I'm scared to learn (another private confession!). Learning an instrument can be intimidating.

Also, I watch Hart of Dixie. I have a soft spot for teen dramas.

Wow, I'm just admitting things all over the place here...
