I have a tendency to over intellectualize most things, or so I've
been told. I'm pretty impulsive, the decision to move to Chicago
took me 72 hours. But why live if you aren't going to trust your
heart. Why am I here? Well I definately believe that people have
soul mates, not necessarily one. I want to find someone to have
adventures with and build a life together. And even if that doesn't
work out I'm of the opinion that you can never have too many
Life is beautiful since moving to Chicago in July. I'm in Logan
Squareright now, but I like to travel as much as possible. My
business takes most of my days but I leave my work at the office
and try to explore the city as much as possible. I never thought
I'd join an online dating site but i'm brand new to the area so
what's the worst that could happen?
I'm a really active and energetic person, I like doing anything
outdoors. Since im still new to the area I'm really enjoying
finding new things to do.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working on building my dream. I manage and tour with musicians
and Have recently started dabbling in music production and although
it will probably never pay the bills it's a lot of fun.
My real world job is as a freelance small business and venture
capital consultant. Basically I analyze business models and advise
clients on how to tweak them for profitability. Pretty hilarious
considering the fact that I think money is the biggest joke ever.
My best friend and I are opening a restaurant in Chicago, so that's
taking a lot of time but its awesome!
Also planning trips, I try to keep a goals list for vacations to
prevent myself from getting too locked into "the rat race".
I’m really good at
Listening and giving objective advice when asked.
Traveling with carry-on luggage only.
Getting lost at the most opportune times.
Striking up a conversation with anyone.
Relating to people.
Eating massive portions of food.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably that I have a lot of tattoos, or an incredibly
inappropriate sense of humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books- seven types of ambiguity, catcher in the rye, fear and
loathing on the campaign trail, anything by Thompson or Mckenna. I
will pretty much read anything
Movies- Casino, Forrest Gump, The Salton Sea, Swingers, Pi,
Inception, Moonrise Kingdom... This list could go on and on and
TV- LOST, Game of Thrones, The Wire, Parks and Rec, Community,
Daily Show, South Park, Walking Dead, Girls
Music- tool, nin, apc, aphex twin, boards of Canada, against me,
The Weeknd, alkaline trio, break science, feed me, Pusha T, El P,
Shpongle, Pantyraid, Lou Reed, and it goes on and on and on... I'll
listen to anything once and I'll see anything live.
The six things I could never do without
Contacts/Glasses, the gym (well physical activity), live music, new
food, friends,my family
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The nature of existence, the fallacy of man, why every guy thinks
he had to tote a gun or start a fight to consider himself a man,
the origins of our species, broadening my outlook on life.
On a typical Friday night I am
It really depends where I am. I travel 2-3 weekends a month. I like
to try new restaurants and am always a sucker for live music.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a fan of millionaire matchmaker
You should message me if
