I am down to earth, laid back, and intelligent.

My Self-Summary

Oy! I'm in Australia until mid-December. Then I'll be back in San Jose.

I rarely change my TV from Cartoon Network. I am quite talented at monitoring and maintaining finances. I ride the light rail (VTA) to work every day. Cold weather barely phases me because I radiate heat all the time. I say the word 'ridiculous' ridiculously often. I work out every day. I have aspirations of making it to E3, Pax, ComicCon, TGS, and maybe GamesCom. In the past 5 years, I have had glasses, LASIK surgery, my wisdom teeth removed, braces, extremely short hair, extremely long hair, kidney stones, 4 different cars and 5 different apartments. I love bowling, but rarely get over 100, partially because I use an 8 lb bowling ball. I find it to be ridiculous when people don't want to recycle. I love stand-up comedy. I own a Blackberry, and can type text messages without looking. I have a gamerscore of 33,416. I'd like to learn how to breakdance, sing, play the piano, play the guitar and speak Japanese. 3 of my favorite movies are Bebe's Kids, The Emperor's New Groove and A Goofy Movie (the music was phenomenal). I think cuddling/spooning is the greatest sleep-related invention since sleep itself. I never sit down when I ride my bicycle. I always buy warranties for my electronics. I graduated 13/165 in my high school, and cum laude from college with a BS in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. I love sneezing. I drink Coke Zero like I breathe air. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, though I rarely find the time to eat in the morning. I love cats, and cats love me. I intentionally watch scary flash files for the adrenaline rush. Holy crap I love Caramel Frappucinos, strawberry milk, pepperoni, buffalo-style anything, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, breakfast burritos with sausage and bacon, steak, white-chip macadamia nut cookies, pepperoni pizza, pepper-jack cheese, Red Hot, grilled cheese sandwiches and honey-nut cheerios. I love live sporting events, but don't closely follow sports. Hot tubs are the sh*t. I hate spiders, but won't kill them (I'll throw them out the door). I currently don't own a car, but by choice (it's a finances thing). Random old people love sparking up conversations with me. When people write down my name, they spell it incorrectly about 75% of the time. I think the word 'turtle' sounds ridiculous.

(Phew) If you have any further questions, you'll just have to ask me.

What I’m doing with my life

Pounding keyboards into the ground as a software engineer. After 6 years of fun, however, I am not sure that it is my calling. I am currently working at Lockheed Martin, but doing a bit of soul (and classified ad) searching.

I’m really good at

Most things. While that sounds pretty vain of me, I'll add a caveat to that: I'm good at most things, but I don't excel at anything. It is actually pretty lame.

The first things people usually notice about me

Ususally, people notice my hair. Directly following, they usually notice my eyes. Lastly, if I happen to be doing so, they usually notice my smile.

Hopefully, in the near future, they will notice the new bod (I'm trying my hardest to get back in shape.)

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I don't read many books. There is just something about them that doesn't pull me in. Maybe you can tell me what I am doing wrong.

As far as movies are concerned, they are so ingrained in my life that I watch pretty much everything (gracias para la diversion, Netflix). For a couple of favorites, see the 'Self-Summary' section.

Music... I don't go anywhere without it. I typically listen to Rap, Hip Hop and R&B. However, you'd be surprised what I'll get into (especially during my UKG and Frank Sinatra phases).

Food. That's all that needs to be said.

The six things I could never do without

Computers, Food, Independence, Movies, Video Games, Women

(No, they are not in order. Well, not in the order you may be thinking... They are alphabetical)

Oh. And the world can always use a dose of humor. My life would be terrible without humor.

Wait... what about music? I think I need a list of 12 things.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Potential paths in life. Whether that be career, relationship, cars, or even what I will be eating for the next week, it's all the same. My mind is racing all the time.

On a typical Friday night I am

Playing video games with my college roommates. Sometimes I'll sprinkle a little Dave & Buster's or bar/nightclub in there, but it's usually video games... or movies... or anime (gotta love Desert Punk).

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Everyone in the world has problems... me included. I, however, am usually 'the rock' (for family, friends, relationships, etc.) in the situation, so everyone's problem are usually mine. I have developed into a problem solver for many people that I know... and I don't mind it.

You should message me if

you'd like to chat. I am probably the most low-pressure guy you'll ever meet... so, don't be shy!
