My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I don't get how every other thing on this page isn't a summary of me, but whatever.

I'm a recent BFA graduate from the University of Iowa. I'm into Dan Savage, Aleister Crowley and Adventure Time.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to stay afloat in Portland. I just got here and I'm looking forward to the fresh start. The current projects on my plate are: find a job, start a web comic and invent a game that can cause sociological change. I have trouble doing one thing at a time.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Drawing, Storytelling, Arguing, Running, remaining idealistic.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably that I'm talking entirely too loud. I get very into my conversations.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Good Stories
Women (not in a sleazy way, I just need females in my life to stay sane)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
“What civilization is is six-million people trying to make themselves happy by standing on each other's shoulders and kicking each other's teeth in. It's not a pleasant situation and yet, you can stand back and look at this planet and see that we have the money, the power, the medical understanding, the scientific know-how, the Love and the community to produce a kind of human paradise. But we are led by the least among us; the least intelligent, the least noble, the least visionary. We are led by the least among us and we do not fight back against the dehumanizing values that are handed down as control icons...

Culture is not your friend. Culture is for other people's convenience and the convenience of various institutions, churches, companies, tax collection schemes, what-have-you. It is not your friend. It insults you. It disempowers you. It uses and abuses you. None of us are well treated by culture and yet we glorify the creative potential of the individual, the rights of the individual. We understand that the felt presence of experience is most important. But the culture is a perversion. It fetishizes objects, creates consumer-mania, it preaches endless forms of false happiness, endless forms of false understanding in the form of squirrelly religions and silly cults, it invites people to diminish themselves and dehumanize themselves by behaving like machines; meme processors of memes passed down from Madison Avenue and Hollywood and what-have-you.”

Terrence McKenna

"At the end of the valley of decision there is always choice. Reality is what you can get away with." Robert Anton Wilson

Everyone wants desperately to be happy, but most expect someone else to make them happy. That or they just fill their life with "stuff." On that topic:

Mullah Nassreddin rode into Mecca on his donkey. He rode through every street and every alley with frantic determination. He searched every store, mosque and home. Eventually, the people could not help but ask him, "Nassreddin! Nasseddin! What is it you are doing?" And he replied, "I have lost my donkey! I've looked everywhere and I just can't find him!"

Aside from that, I think about how I can make the world stranger.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
