Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am looking for a best friend, confidant, partner and lover. Are
you Intelligent, vibrantly healthy and have a unique sense of
humor. Are you authentically unconventional in some way. Do you see
things in a way different from most other people - maybe you are
irreverent and sarcastic - or you are exceptionally kind and
generous - or insightful and understanding. Even a little crazy is
good. Not a lot, however. I have had enough of alot. Whatever way
you are special, do we mesh and together can we create the magic
that only comes from the synergy of two well matched people?
I started a company 8 years ago and it has been very satisfying and
rewarding. I like to learn new things and put them into practice if
possible. Teaching Company courses on history, art, religion,
philosophy, math and medicine as well as books on CD make driving a
goal as well as a means to an end. The internet is a godsend for
practical things like correcting vision, building a tree house or
fixing a clogged drain. My chocolate chip cookies (a recipe cobbled
together from the internet, America's Test Kitchen and the back of
the chocolate chip package) are to die for. I am sure that if the
Gods were still around, they would happily trade their ambrosia for
a few bites. Traveling to England with my daughter, hunting for
obscure castles for her school project was my favorite vacation. I
am looking forward to more travels with you if you would like to go
some place. My current number one passion is squash. I have
completely revamped my training regimen (a combination of
stretching, yoga, vision, and conditioning) to develop the athletic
capabilities needed for the sport and plan to play if some
tournaments if possible.
There is so much more to do and enjoy and almost all of it is much
more fun when shared with the right person. I look forward to

Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am building my business, playing squash and looking for a
beautiful woman to share my life with.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making chocolate chip cookies.

Favorite authors - Thomas Sowell, Richard Dawkins, Robert
Samuelson, Charles Krauthammer. I listen to fiction on CD while
driving, also Teaching Company courses. I am currently reading
books on the different conversational styles and cognitive
perspectives of men and women
Music, Classic rock, blues, classical. I recently discovered
Pandora (yes, I know about the wheel too). It turns out that I
really like just about everything by Lana Del Ray and Lorde and a
lot of individual songs by people I had never heard of before
(Passenger, Foster The People, Birdy, MIA and others)
Movies - typical guy stuff for fun (action adventure, scifi) but
anything thought provoking is welcome.
TV - I like to watch well done series more as an event (on DVD)
than at the regularly scheduled time. Lost, Game of Thrones, Star
Trek DS9, 24, are a few of my favorites
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My 3 kids. My computer. My squash racquet. Trader Joes. Chocolate

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to fix up my house - It seemed to be such a good deal at the
time - and will these guys ever finish. And recently, why many
Cupid women refuse to say anything under "The most private thing
I'm willing to admit" section and then provide lurid details of
their sexual proclivities in the question section.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
If the moon is right, I join the Barbarian hordes to pillage and
plunder local villages. In between, I am sharpening my sword and
shining my armor. Patience is a virtue when pillaging and
plundering are involved.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I shower in the nude. Please don't tell anyone. Also, recently I
awoke hungry only to discover that I was out of eggs, milk and
anything remotely similar to breakfast food. So I cooked a frozen
pizza. If this is a deal breaker, I think it is best to get it out
in the open now.

want me for my cookies, be prepared to work. I never give out the
