My self-summary
My name is Craig. I'm 26, and I'm a recovered Cherry Coke Zero addict.

***I moved to Huntington, WV just about a year ago. I [still] know almost no one. Even if you're only interested in just being friends, drop me a line.***

First and foremost, I am a drummer. On my throne, behind my kit, is my haven.

Of course I'm interested in meeting you if you think I'm cute :-)
But it's not limited to that. If you're tech savvy, a musician, or just have the same taste in music, feel free to drop me a line. I'd like to meet some new people with similar interests.
What I’m doing with my life
I have an AAS in computer programming, and I've just started again at Marshall to finish a BS in Computer Science. Hated school at 16; hating school again at 26. bah
I'm a grill cook and an assistant manager at a restaurant...most days I want to leave, but it just pays so damn good.
I’m really good at
I'm good with computers. I've built 2 of my own, my mom's, and my old boss's. I am the IT guy for just about anyone I know and am actually trying to make some extra cash on the side doing PC repair.
I like to think I'm a decent drummer. I've been playing since I was 11. As of now, that makes it roughly 15 years. I know that I have a lot to learn, though, so that's why I [kinda] take lessons.
I'm a problem-solver. I'm fairly good at that.
Oh, and I also make a pretty damn good Long Island Iced Tea...and a few other drinks.
The first things people usually notice about me
For a few years, it was my hair. I had a bitching mohawk that was about 10" tall. These days, I couldn't tell you.
I recently went back to my 'hawk, but decided it wasn't worth losing an opportunity at an internship or new job just to have it. So it's gone once again.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I don't read much, but I do like The Giver. Haven't read it since high school though. Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs is pretty good as well. Aside from those, most of my reading has been in IT books for school, Android development sites, and sheet music for drums.

Movies : SLC Punk!, V for Vendetta, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1 & 2, The Crow, Donnie Darko, Accepted, Detroit Rock City, The Matrix Trilogy, Battle Royale, Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Hackers are People Too, Hackers Wanted, Hackers, Hackers 2, Tron, Die Hard 1-4, American History X, 16 Blocks, Lucky Number Slevin, Sin City, and tons more.
I'll watch anything with Bruce Willis, any kind of mind-fuck movie, or anything about hackers.

Music : I love punk, ska, and other derivatives of the hXc punk scene of the 80's and 90's
Examples :: Streetlight Manifesto, Alkaline Trio, Rancid, Blink 182, Reel Big Fish, Green Day, Against Me!, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Goldfinger, Hadji and the Turbans, Pennywise, Rise Against, The Aquabats, The Distillers, The Casualties, The Unseen, The Used, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Me First and the Gimme Gimme's, Thrice, Big D and the Kid's Table, Boxcar Racer, Senses Fail, Sum 41...
There are LOADS of others

Can't really say I have a favorite food. I mean, lamb and deer are delicious. So are beef stroganoff and veal parmesan. But I don't have a favorite.
The six things I could never do without
If we forgo the four necessities of life and anything in any tier of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, we're left only with possessions/commodities. I can't name 6 that I couldn't do without. However, a few I wouldn't want to are:
drums, computer, car, phone
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Programming, oddly enough, and a bunch of other PC related stuffs. Also, I've been thinking a lot about how to get an IT company off the ground.
Polyrhythms (ask if you'd like to know)
Linear patterns (again, ask)

I often think about situations that have happened and how they could have gone differently. Not necessarily how they could have been better or worse...just different.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working usually.
There was a time when I might have been out at a show, or even playing with my band, but I don't go out much anymore.
However, give me a reason and I'll be more than happy to get out of the house/take off work.
