My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.

New News: Phones do not like the beaches!! Also, if it looks like a puddle, it's probably a pool, just FYI!

A nerd from your basic middle class family. I just moved from DC and do archival and museum work, like a good nerd should. I've traveled but currently my passport is expired, need to fix that. I'm in the middle of reading books about sleeping and eating along with my fan fiction. I have taken up a small hobby of walking along to the beach collecting rocks, I might pick up geology as an accidental hobby. My apartment has a decent sized kitchen so I have discovered baking again! Sometimes I think I have this secret side that only a few people know about and then I check myself and know that, nope, I'm not mysterious at all, in fact I'm pretty much an open book just some chapters are odd enough to make people question things.

These are just a few of thing things that make me fantastic!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
"I became an archivist because I am nosy." - quote from a former boss and a kick-ass lady. This is why I do what I do. I am endlessly curious about everything. Seriously, you could be a worm gardener and I would ask you a thousand questions about it.

Attempting to do more creative writing. I mostly do poems but am trying to nail the art of short story or novel. *sigh*
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I can read situations pretty decently though I have a bitch of a time figuring out how to make them go my way.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
A) I have a ton of favorite books but here are just a few of them that I reallllllly like: Glory for Me, I was Amelia Earhart, The Sex Book, The Blind Assassin (I adore M. Atwood, anything by her is good in my book), Columbine, Stiff, Valley of the Dolls, Still Missing, The Hunger Games, and fan fiction... I have no shame, some of it is really great stuff!

B)Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Bridget Jones's Diary, Sliding Doors, Italian for Beginners, Kissing Jessica Stine, The Best Years of Our Lives, Notorious, Match Point - I tend to like Woody Allen as long as he isn't in the movies.... he freaks me out in that... dude you are wayyyy to into teen chicks to be anything other than creepy.

C) I'm pretty much open to anything and listen to most things. I listen to lyrics and find the poetry in them, then listen to the actual music.

D) Im a foodie, Ill try anything once!! Oddly enough for a midwest white girl Mexican is a comfort food as well as a good cheeseburger and a nice steak. I love Indian and Mediterranean food, (goat and lamb yes please) and as a coastal transplant (currently going from East to West) have a healthy love for fish, crab and everything in between :) I realize this is meat heavy.... eekk love the veggies too just ... I learned how to cook heavy mid-west/minor south style and the things I tend to do off the top of my head are steaks and fish and chicken... but I do love to cook veggies and such! I just need a recipe or something.

E) T.V. -Got cable back and am watching my sports again! A few of my favorite shows though are Star Trek - Grew up on TNG but have a love of TOS and Spock... accidentally fangirled when I found a geek store in Belfast and scared off some of the locals when I found Spock ears... not my best moment, Mad Men

F) Art! Loveeee Frida Kahlo, Edward Hopper and Picaso are a few of my favorites, but I love going to art museums and finding out what strikes me. :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Thoughts peppering about lately: How am I going to afford my new life style and shit... am I acting like an East Coast person on the West Coast or is it just me!!?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
New in town so basically watching the play offs and pissing off the cat. Ask me to hang with you!!!!

I would eat cat or dog if cooked properly... and lets face it, when they are cooking Guinea Pig in Peru on the Discovery channel, that stuff looks like all sorts of tasty.
