I am down-to-earth, intelligent, and independent.
My Self-Summary
I love my life. I stay busy with school, my horses, friends and
family. That said, I love opportunities to meet new people.
I grew up on a farm, but, due to parental circumstances, have spent
half my life in the city. Because of this, I think I am a hybrid of
a hick-farmer and hippie-city dweller (okay, so that describes my
father and mother, whom stayed together long enough to have my
brother and I).
Wow, so I've probably broken rule #6: mention your parents.
Regardless, my upbringing has shaped my personality, beliefs and
interests significantly and, admittedly, left me a hypocrite.
Example, please, you say? I walk, bike, or take public transit
within city limits for environmental reasons... but, my dream
vehicle is sitting at my farm waiting for me to score enough cash
to buy it: a 3/4 ton diesel truck. Will an old pick-up truck help
me pick up much?
What I’m doing with my life
In my life, I want to feel inspired, challenged, and happy. I try
to consider what impacts the choices I make have on the natural
world. I've chosen a career that will hopefully enable me to invoke
positive change. I am the softer side of engineering.
I’m really good at
I'm an aggressive driver. Don't tell me "chicks can't drive
stick".
I procrastinate. I've written a twenty-five page term paper in one
night. I am trying very hard not to end up in a situation where I
am pulling together my Ph.D. thesis in a similar time frame.
I'm assuming that this section is actually intended for you to
elaborate on your interests? Since I tend to stick to those things
that I am good at, I will run with that.
I just started riding english last year and bought another horse
last winter. I compete in eventing and train in dressage and
jumping four to six times a week. No one is surprised that my last
ex ended things because I spent more time with my horses than him.
At this point in my life, I am not looking for a serious
relationship.
I'm also very good at going off on tangents. And coming up with the
mathematical equation to describe said tangent (kidding).
When I'm not riding, I like to be skiing, camping, backpacking,
hiking, travelling, cooking, and attempting creative pursuits such
as drawing, painting, sewing, etc.
The first things people usually notice about me
Physically? Hmm... couldn't tell you. Actually, I could, but I'd
rather you see for yourself. It'll be worth it.
Once I open my mouth? That I'm blunt.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My tastes do not define me, nor should they define anyone. These
are things that enrich who you are, not make you who you are.
The six things I could never do without
- family
- friends
- my horses
- clean soil, air and water
I spend a lot of time thinking about
our planet
On a typical Friday night I am
- dancing in a club
- drinking at a pub
- partying at a house
- riding my horse
- cracking jokes with my friends that better not go over your head
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I fall off a horse at least once a year, even though I've been
riding all my life.
Okay, I guess that is just embarrassing.

that covered all on your own.
