My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I can be very kind, understanding, and even sensitive sometimes. My sense of humor falls between eccentric and gently sarcastic. I'm self-sufficient, but I enjoy being close to people who are witty and intelligent.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Destroying perfectly good motorcycles racing them in the rain. Oops.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Staying calm in stressful situations.

I can fix pretty much anything, which also implies that I'm good at breaking things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm tall, thin, and I look good in a sweater.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I tend to read more sci-fi than one probably should, but I've also read LOTR a couple times, Song of Ice and Fire, and a few biographies here and there. Lately, I've been really enjoying Iain Bank's Culture series. The names of the ships crack me up.

Movies: I like everything, including campy, terrible movies.

Shows: I'm looking for some new stuff to watch now that GoT and Silicon Valley are done for the season. I've heard good things about The Americans. I miss all of the sci-fi that used to be on TV.

Music: Anything with some banging electric guitar in it, from blues to metal. Specific flavors include The Black Keys, Kings of Leon, Bush, Bang Camaro, Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Muse.

Odds and ends that have also caught my fancy lately are Glitch Mob, Lindsey Stirling, and the Tron Legacy soundtrack by Daft Punk. Currently on a bit of a trip-hop kick.

Food: Japanese, Thai, Mexican, Indian... ok I love all of the food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Let's skip over the usual stuff and get to the weird stuff:
Food from the garden
Michelin Power Cup Evos
CE Approved armor
Dark IPAs (boo to Stone killing off SSR, hope the new version is good)
Kerbal Space Program
IFLS
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The size of me compared to the size of the universe. We don't seem to mean much in the grand scheme of things. At least physically.

The little gremlin that inserts typos into my profile when I'm not looking.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At the Blind Pig Brewery, traveling to a motorcycle race, watching a movie, reading some fiction.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I sometimes use two spaces at the end of a sentence.
