In simple terms, I'm just me. I love the simple things in life, fun
and freedom. I love decent food, theatres, comedy and live music.
It has been said many times that I have the patience of a saint. I
have been told I am a typical Taurean, steady and methodical (the
boring side which I don't show unless it's absolutely necessary,
work etc.) I'm always looking for the silly, funny, crazy things
that happen. (There really is a funny side to everything though
it's sometimes hard to find). I love to laugh and try to make the
people around me laugh. Please don't take that as "Immature" I'm
far from it, I've had my share of hard knocks. Life is too short to
mope and sulk and argue and fight all the time. (Forgiveness is one
of the greatest, though sometimes most difficult, gifts to give and
to receive). I must add though, that I do have a serious, caring
side and I'm always there when I'm needed, sometimes when I'm not.
What I’m doing with my life
I am primarily a carpenter/builder and co-host on the karaoke at
Rock Steady Eddies in Walsall (even though I sing like a ruptured
frog with a sore throat). I'm currently in the process of setting
up a business in graphic design, so, if you want any posters,
I’m really good at
Apart from my main trade, nothing and everything, a bit of a Jack
of all trades really. I believe that if a thing is worth doing etc.
and that anyone can do anything if they put their mind to it, I'll
try almost anything once except jump out of a plane or off
something high with a bit of elastic tied round my ankle. I'm a
good, sympathetic listener and, I have to say, I'm better at giving
than receiving. (I struggle with accepting compliments).
The first things people usually notice about me
My mis-matched hair and moustache. It only reflects my sense of
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
As said before, I love comedy and any books, films, tv shows are
generally along those lines. Who doesn't like Faulty Towers, The
Goons, Monty Python, Fool and Horses. Best live theatre ever
"Phantom of the Opera." Food, almost anything though I'm not too
fond of curry.
The six things I could never do without
1, Beer (In moderation of course) I prefer real ales (There is such
a wide spectrum to choose from).
2, Public Transport (Got to have something to moan about)
3, My computer
4, My marbles
5, More beer, still in moderation
6, This wonderful sense of humour God has given me
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where my parents went wrong. Seriously, I think about setting up my
own business but never do anything about it. I think I need a good
woman behind me. If I get into deep thought, I ponder about life
itself and the possibilities of time travel and a parallel time/
space continuum. (Scary or what?)
On a typical Friday night I am
Out touring the area for live music, generally rock. My heroes are
Status Quo. Such an underrated band by the so-called "heavies"
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Tell you to your face.
You should message me if
See life through the same rose coloured glasses and have a similar
sense of humour. The serious stuff? See what develops.
