My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I grew up in California, but decided the weather was too nice, so I moved to NYC. I absolutely love it here, even when it gets humid in midtown and it smells like a hobo and a dog had a bath together and the bathwater was made of old mayonnaise.

I've been told I'm logical and have an even temper, although this hasn't always been in a positive context. I love trying new things whenever possible, especially if it involves drinking outdoors. I've always been a reader, and am typically in the middle of at least two books at a time, one non-fiction for my book club and one fiction. I'm also the only person I know under the age of 65 who still reads the newspaper on the weekends.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in advertising. Not the "eccentric creative department" that you see in movies, but the "managing all the junk you need to figure out so that you aren't wasting the clients money" side to advertising. I enjoy the work, although it can stress me out at times.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Dancing all night long. I go for endurance, not quality

Cooking pasta. Every week I make a different sauce out of what looks good at the market and use it throughout the week. My Mac & Cheese is pretty much the best thing ever

Using my hands to express emotion while talking. This tends to get more pronounced as I tell a story until I'm flailing wildly by the end

Possibly my beard, which is magical and can be used to start small fires if rubbed vigorously. I've also been told I dress well for a straight man.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where to get lunch. I'm obsessed with the food carts near my office, and I like to hunt around and find new delicious things to try nearby.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At my place mixing a cocktail for my friends before we go out to a bar. I've gathered a good assortment of booze and have been into making drinks lately. Sometimes I mix it up with a night at home watching netflix if the work week was particularly rough on me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I think sushi is overrated. I don't respond well to peer pressure. I once attended computer summer camp. And lately I've been addicted to Doctor Who.
