What to say.....basically I am a simple girl, I grew up in NH with a small family and had a relatively normal childhood...went to boarding school for high school....now I'm in college!
I love to be by the ocean whenever possible and I can't wait to graduate so that I can travel the world for a year (or as long as I can afford to!)
I love simple pleasures like being able to sleep in some mornings and read a great book. I like having back yard BBQ's and family events because I love hanging out and just relaxing...on the other hand I'm a huge fan of dining out at nice places....love great wine, food, and company.

What I’m doing with my life

I am currently in college and most likely majoring in Biology or Psychology and minoring in Hebrew and Philosophy. I have many interests though, which seem to be pulling me every which way these days...from massage therapy to jewelry designer and even potentially becoming a doctor of some kind....I know, lots of different life paths that may be slightly confusing, but I just have lots of interests!

I’m really good at

LISTENING to people talk….and actually having something intellectual to say in response! People come to me for advice all the time…some say I should ditch the surgeon career and choose psychiatry or psychology….we shall see!
I am also really good at communicating with people and making them feel comfortable in my presence….too much time is wasted fretting about appearances and good impressions, so I try to take the edge off by being calm and collected so that friends and new acquaintances alike feel like they don’t have to worry about keeping up false presences or irrational expectations around me. I try to be real as much as possible, because I don’t see the point in being someone I’m not.

The first things people usually notice about me

People always tell me that I have such a nice smile, which I appreciate greatly. My freckles also seem to be very catchy...I don't find them particularly special but I guess some people do! They also notice that I am very open, welcoming and easy to approach as well as kind and very mature for my age....people don't believe me when I tell them I'm not old enough to drink yet.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Ooh…this is a tough category!
Books: Three Cups of Tea, Anthem, Tuesdays with Morrie, Snow Falling on Cedars, The catcher in the Rye, Pride and Prejudice (anything by Jane Austen, Charles dickens, William Shakespeare, Sophocles or the Bronte sisters) lots more, but that’s good enough I think.

Movies: Pride and Prejudice, Superman (original series), The Good The Bad and The Ugly, Anne of Green Gables, Bourne Series, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Underworld, Slumdog Millionaire, V for Vendetta, Star Wars, Garden State, Rudy, Dances with Wolves, Blood Diamond, Dr. Zhivago, Old musicals, anything Romantic/chick flick-y….tearjerkers!

Music: EVERYTHING except for most Rap, Metal, and Hard Rock…

Food: I love to explore new things, in the culinary world there are no limits EXCEPT for spicy food!!! I’m a total wimp! :-(

On a typical Friday night I am

Hanging out with friends or at home with my family relaxing after a LONG HARD week. Otherwise, I could be having some fun, depends on my mood really. Perhaps I could be out on a date with you! ;-)

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I am afraid that I'm not living my life to the fullest because I know that I don't take every opportunity that comes my way and I find myself regretting those missed opportunities way too often.

I'm an open book, but the really important deep secrets are things that my friends don't know anyway...so I don't plan on sharing it here!
