My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
People should just know I'm awesome and want to date me. But apparently this takes more effort than that. Ugh.

I absolutely love Disney (especially Disney World). I'm a big reader. Often times, I'll be reading fictional books, but I'll also find myself navigating my way through Wikipedia, reading whatever article happens to spark my interest. You probably enjoy binge watching shows on Netflix, and I do too! So, great! I also like board games. And bowling. And golf. And video games. And beer. These things are all delightful. But NO tomatoes.

I'm a big guy currently, but I work out about five times a week, so hopefully I'm on my way to a smaller Mike. It'd be great to find someone who wanted to work out with me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
While I initially had hoped to work in politics (on a campaign or the like) - I received my degree in Political Science - I now work for a software company. Our software is used primarily in beer and wine distribution. I love working with our customers, as their industry is just fantastic. It's amazing learning about how beer gets from the supplier to a person's fridge. Every day, I learn something new at work. And every day is different - I'm never just completing the same task repetitively. My job has so much variety. I truly love it. I keep progressing in my company, and plan to continue to do so, at least for the next couple years.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm very good with computers. I'm also pretty excellent at trivia (which is good, since I love it). I'm good at making people laugh. I make a mean batch of chili (if you like it spicy!).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Anything by Christopher Moore, especially Lamb and Bloodsucking Fiends. I'm also a big fan of Kurt Vonnegut and Terry Pratchett. I need to read more Neil Gaiman.

I'm a huge Chicago Bears fan.

Movies: Ghostbusters, Star Wars, Disney movies, Kevin Smith flicks

TV Shows: The West Wing. I can watch The West Wing over and over. And I do. I love all of Aaron Sorkin's other works. I love Jeopardy!. I'm a big fan of the new show Gotham and I also like Criminal Minds. The Voice is a guilty pleasure.

Theatre Shows: Wicked, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Spamalot

Music: 90s Rock/Alternative, but I like a lot of different stuff, too. Favorite bands are Live, Queen, Bush, REM, The Rolling Stones
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Smartphone - I'm totally an addict.
Computer - I find that there are just some things that I don't like doing on a phone!
Curiosity - I love learning about new things. I couldn't imagine not having the drive to keep learning.
Coke Zero - I don't like coffee and I have a bit of a caffeine addiction
Disney World - It really is the most magical place on Earth
Reddit - It helps satisfy my curiosity thing, and it's also great for passing time!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What's next. I spend a lot of time thinking about whatever's next - the next vacation I'm going to take, how I'm going to get that next promotion, what book do I want to read next. It's also important to focus on the now, however. I don't want to get so wrapped up in future goals that I don't enjoy what's happening right now.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There are so many possibilities - each Friday could be different. Maybe I'm at a bar with some close friends having a few drinks. I could be at home with Netflix or on-demand. Maybe I'm reading a fantastic book. Maybe I'm at a friend's house and we're all playing board games.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you love Disney. And sometimes like lounging about and watching a great show or movie. And care a little bit (or a lot) about grammar. And already enjoy or would be interested in checking out The West Wing. And want to show me how to cook more things better (or want to learn along with me). If some of these things apply to you? I do believe we'd get along.
