My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Yeah. This sounds hard. Okay. I love board games, trivia, football, reading, computers, golf (I suck at it (though less so than in the past)), and, uh, stuff. I'm not really sure what else to say about myself, but I'm pretty open, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for a small/medium software company and wear about seventeen different hats. Among many other things, I help the company figure out what our customers need and want and then work with the programmers to bring it to life. I absolutely love my job.

I got my degree in political science and had hoped to go into that field. I'm incredibly happy with where I landed, however, so I have no complaints about the outcome.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Everything? No, uh... computers! Oh, and everything. Being honest. Listening! Trivia. And... possibly everything. Except the things I'm not.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Don't know! Maybe that I'm either super focused or decidedly not. I don't have much of a middle ground.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Anything by Christopher Moore, especially Lamb and Bloodsucking Fiends. I'm also a big fan of Kurt Vonnegut, Terry Pratchett, and Piers Anthony. I was a huge fan of Good Omens by Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, so I read American Gods. I found it rather disappointing, at first, and was pretty bummed, but I kept reading and actually changed my mind on it about halfway through. It took some effort to really get into it, but once I did, I was happy I had persevered.

I'm a huge Chicago Bears fan.

Movies: Ghostbusters, Star Wars, Kevin Smith flicks, The Great Escape, Batman Begins.

TV Shows: The West Wing. I can watch The West Wing over and over. And I do. I'm a big fan of Sports Night, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Newsroom, Breaking Bad, Dexter, True Blood, and House of Cards.

Theatre Shows: Wicked, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Spamalot, Jesus Christ Superstar, Oklahoma!, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Music: 90s Rock/Alternative, but I like a lot of different stuff, too. Favorite bands are Live, Queen, Bush, REM, The Rolling Stones, The Who.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My computer, my friends (usually)... and I've run out of things. Except for, you know, the things that I actually need to survive (like an industrial strength hair-dryer).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My goals, computers, whatever I'm currently reading, sex, my job, stuff, and things.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Bowling? Playing board games? At karaoke and drinking a bit (hopefully not participating)? Reading? Watching a movie? It's just a big mystery.

On a typical Wednesday night, however, you'll always find me at Team Trivia, unless I have to travel for work. On those occasions, I am slightly sad.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a pretty open person, priviately, but tend to be fairly discreet, publicly.

That said, I present a few random tidbits about me:
I'm an INTJ. At one time, I didn't really believe in these descriptors, but this guide hit a little too close to home:

I'm a bit of a grammar Nazi.

I'm an odd combination of confident and shy. I'm very confident in myself and will likely come across as such in text or speech; however, in public, I'm not a "center of attention" type of person.

These probably weren't that interesting, so if you have something else in mind that you wish to ask me, feel free to send me a message. I'll [almost] guarantee that I'll answer your question honestly!
